Good for Tiffany. Any bartenders that refers to themselves as a "mixologist" need a sharp slap in the face.
Permission is not necessary unless it's being used for commercial purposes (e.g. advertising).
I always thought something wasn't right about Som "Jr. G-Man" Lisaius. Looked at his Fb page once (it's gone now) and he seemed to be a major douche.
"If you read what I write enough..." [WINCE]
Try: "If you read enough of what I write..."
Or maybe: "If you read even a little of what I write...."
COPY EDITOR? CALLING A COPY EDITOR!
Brandon, don't you think you're being a little rough on ......
dive bars? :-)
I agree with Saundie! Heather, you are truly an awful writer. And this: "I like the way you can catch chef Naguro Nakajima rolling his eyes ever so subtly at newbies when they grace his bar with silly (yes, there are some) questions." You must surely have popped out of your mother's womb fully versed in the ways of sushi, since you would never, ever ask a "newbie" question! Presumably, Chef Nakajima is a professional and polite to his customers even if he's heard the same questions a thousand times. You just come off as arrogant and snotty.
mboston, I agree with you sentiment but for one thing: obtaining knowledge does not make one intelligent. If you aren't intelligent to begin with, no amount of knowledge will help you. These clods who are harassing the Islamic Center do not strike me as a group of intelligent people.
