Afternoon Drive KHIT 1075
I'm bummed I never got the chance to work with Adrienne, I have heard great things about her and saw her a few times when she worked on the air at KFMA before her and Scott took over the morning show. She's got some real talent and if she continues in this biz, she'll continue to do great! Love ya AM!!
Sounds justified to me if the library is funded with tax payer money
There is so much talent that is still in this market that were let go over the past couple of years that we can only hope stations find the answer to hire and allow them to do what they do best.
Wow! Thanks RJ - (Love that Name - UHF is one of my favorites!)
Still there, every morning - Just busy! Also have TechtalkRadio on a station in West Virginia and working on others
Hi there, Not Voicetracking - At least for now and having fun in the afternoon although I have been reminded (Not because I screwed up) it is a Music Intensive slot so really, little schtick, little or no phoners and follow a tight format clock. My Wife commented its like an acting gig with few lines. I'll still interject and think I can have fun with it, more then anything thanks for noticing. It seems the only time radio gets press these days is when the mass firings happen or somebody slips a naughty word, there is a lot all of the stations do for the community whether it be Cumulus, Clear Channel, Lotus or even a Mom and Pop station. No doubt it's changing but it's good to be on the Air and hope one day it will be easier for all of us that have decided to still play in this. As far as the Permanence, I have been told yes, I am the afternoon guy - it's a Part Time gig for now.
As the one "Running the board" during the Stanford Game at KHIT, it was pretty evident after about 3 minutes the game wasn't coming back.
The spots for IMG were rotated through as if the game had finished AND I broke in with information about the outcome of the game (They Let me talk once in awhile and I still have my FCC Card..haha) and that we were trying to return to Brian and the game, in the meantime would return to our music programming and return to the game post game wrap up when available. One Song, spots and by then my awesome compadre in KCUB got the feed to us from IMG via the Phone line.
I think it's important to note, the Continental spot did not run until we had left the Post game show AND KHIT stayed with it and returned to the Post Game show when available, we didn't just give up!
It would be nice to get another feed for the Local games but that of course is up to IMG.
