Great article! But Wynne wasn't 'shooting up'. That's what heroin addicts do. He was injecting a medication.
Thank you for fixing the error!
There is a mistake in your article: Veg in a Box did not take over the space where "Urban Fresh, another vegan joint on Pennington Street, left off". Urban Fresh is next door, at 73 Pennington. Veg in a Box is at 75 E Pennington, in the spot the used to be Dizzy G's.
And this weekend at PACC, all cats and dogs over 3 months old are free (dogs have a licensing fee only)!
Unless their food has changed, I would never consider Blue Willow as a destination for vegan food. Their vegan options have always struck me as half-assed -- food from the regular menu, with things removed to make it acceptable, but I don't feel like they are trying to make good vegan food on purpose. I had their tofu scramble once, and the tofu wasn't seasoned. Bleccch. Do any local vegans go there as a first choice, or only when eating with omnis? I'm sure this restaurant won the 'distinction' based on votes by non-vegans who couldn't think of the names of any vegan restaurants. Just looking at their menu, they can't even both to separate their 'special diets' section into two parts, instead mixing vegan and gluten-free together in a way that doesn't make any sense. It's clear they don't value their vegan OR GF customers, but are just mollifying them
Yea, we should stop all those 9 year old kids at the border, because one of them might grow up to be a bomber. Hey, that's a good argument for abortion, too!
Did you have any food? How was it?
