Re the Suns, while I am no longer the huge Suns fan that I was in years past, I follow them enough to add, first that they are 3-2 as I write with two losses to contending teams both of which were close road losses in the final moments [i.e., with a little luck, they could be 4-1 or 5-0] and, second, that they could have as many as four first round picks next summer as well as sufficient cap space to sign one or two good free agents.
Welcome immigrants, yes definitely! Welcome illegal aliens, no way. Why is a church trying to tell TPD how to enforce the law? If anything, the IRS should enforce the law by taking away the church's tax exempt status because of its blatant political activities that cross the line from tax exempt religious activity.
Chief Villasenor should enforce the law and turn these illegal aliens over to the federal government. Persons who cross our border must respect our laws as we are expected to respect and follow the laws of foreign countries that we visit. Families do not have to "break up" as the children can accompany the parent[s] back to the country of origin, either as citizens if the child was also born there or as a dual citizen if born in the US. The church is engaging in political and illegal activity and should be prosecuted and stripped of its tax exempt status.
Bravo!! Good work by TPD.
Next Ms. Horalak will want to ban the Bible since it has some graphic sex with all that begatting and plural marriage. Not to mention all the gratuitous violence.
Or one could make a sign and camp out on a median at an intersection.
Still last week's column.
