Excellent article. Just think how much better the public school system could be if all the money thrown away on charter schools could go to them. There are some things the government just does better and education is one of them.
100 years ago my father's aunt was fighting for this issue. 50 years ago I was walking picket lines and helping with lawsuits over this issue. Every man out there had a mother who was discriminated against for no more reason than that she was a female. Go for it Carmona and Obama and Barber and Grijalva and any other man not afraid of equal status for women.
Interesting that the drug and people runners are urging the burning of fires that result in clearing off the trees and brush that protect them from detection. With the wide open burned spaces they can be easily seen from the sky now and the Border Patrol vehicles have an easier job of tracking them down. Stupid move on the part of the runners. But then whoever said criminals were smart?
Thanks for printing this. Most people cannot even imagine getting such tripe as this but it happens all the time and it is plain disgusting. Patriot this guy is definitely not. You can't even feel sorry for someone with such hatred even if they are really lacking in intelligence. Sorry that you are subjected to such garbage. The majority of people do NOT think like this.
This has got to be the least desired endorsement given this week. Ya gotta feel sorry for Kelly for this one.
I lived in a state that allowed Independants to vote in the primary elections and to vote for any candidate they chose. The result was that many would vote in a manner so that they could defeat the candidate they thought might be the strongest against their favorite. I am not sure that made sense but it is difficult to explain. If you totally do away with the party affiliation and just have the two candidates with the most votes run on ballot for the final election, it is likely that you will get two people of the same party running against each other. This sort of lets the opposition have no choice at all in some districts.
