Not gonna learn much if you're texting instead of listening. All cell phones and other electronic devices should be checked at the door. School children survived without them until the end of the 20th century. They should be able to now.

Re: “Media Watch

Remember when Power 97.5 was a smooth jazz station. It was known as 97-5 The Oasis. The call letters were KOAZ. Then there was "Bob FM." Great NOT to be in radio any longer.

Re: “Danehy

I don't recall Hein working for Santa Cruz County. When I began working in Nogales in April of 1997, Mike Hein was the "Assistant City Administrator," (of the City of Nogales). The Mayor (Cesar Rios in 1997) was and still does serve as the "City Administrator." (The Daily Star story about Mike leaving made the same error). Nogales, recognizing elected officials are usually idiots, was smart enough to create a position for a professional to make sure things don't get completely screwed up. But as we know, the Mayor can STILL screw things up in Nogales.

Re: “Will Forte's 'Last Man On Earth' is Set in Tucson

Right. Was filmed at the most shot-up movie location ranch in motion picture history, the Iverson Movie Ranch, situated in the picturesque rocky foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains just northwest of Chatsworth, has been used to simulate terrain in Africa, Asia, the South Seas, the Wild West, Alien Planetscapes and Tucson.
