I thought we lived in a country where the vote of the people counted??? How can this vote be turned around behind closed doors. If the track owners/breeders want racinos bring it out in the open and let the voters decide again. What does this say about a business the NEEDS to function behind closed doors? What does this say about the Arizona legislature? Write those letters, folks, and let the legislature know if there is a proposed change in the racino issue, we (the people) want to make that decision.
Interesting - Munger is AZ GOP candidate for governor. No hope for the dogs under that regime. Animals lovers remember this on voting day. Give the dogs a chance for a better life (preferably on someone's couch).
Another great article by Tim Vanderpool. What a great voice for the greyhounds. The situation at the Tucson track is deplorable and the dogs continue to suffer. Mr. Vanderpool, please continue to expose the slimy underbelly of this blood sport.
