Sounds like a lot of fun, Stephen. Is there a place we can see which musicians are playing at the SXSW Tucson showcase?
We purchased reserved seat tickets for the show which was originally scheduled at the Rialto, and I want to commend Rialto management for doing the right thing. We're so grateful that they were able to come up with a solution which recognizes the enormous popularity of this fabulous, but overlooked, musician, while not penalizing those of us who purchased reserved seats. Thank you for a job well done! We're looking forward to the show at AVA.

Also happening this spring...Laurie Lewis, Tom Rozum, Nathan McEuen (John's kid), and former Tucsonan, Mark Robertson-Tessi, at the Vail Theatre of the Arts on March 23. Information, videos, and tickets at www.vtota.org.
LAVA Music has lined up an all-star season this spring, featuring 10 of the top-drawing acts from seasons past. The first show, featuring Minnesota bluegrass band, Monroe Crossing, sold out a few days before the show. Tickets are still available for the remaining nine shows. Information at www.lavamusic.org.
Tucson will really miss you, Jimmy. Best of luck in the Coachella Valley.

Sorry, Jimmy. I appreciate your quick response. I looked through the Music listings in the above article and then searched on 'LAVA' and didn't find it. Would you please send me a link to it? (You can send it via PM if you like.)

Re: “Gary Morris: Wind Beneath My Wings”
Gary Morris is one of the great tenors of our time. He was a country heartthrob in the early 80's and went on to play opposite Linda Ronstadt in La Boheme and the lead role, Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" on Broadway. He's a versatile and highly entertaining performer with an uncanny ability to connect with the audience on an intimate level. Gary is offering 100 free tickets to Emergency First Responders who put their lives on the line to help others, so remaining tickets will sell quickly.
