We purchased reserved seat tickets for the show which was originally scheduled at the Rialto, and I want to commend Rialto management for doing the right thing. We're so grateful that they were able to come up with a solution which recognizes the enormous popularity of this fabulous, but overlooked, musician, while not penalizing those of us who purchased reserved seats. Thank you for a job well done! We're looking forward to the show at AVA.

LAVA Music has lined up an all-star season this spring, featuring 10 of the top-drawing acts from seasons past. The first show, featuring Minnesota bluegrass band, Monroe Crossing, sold out a few days before the show. Tickets are still available for the remaining nine shows. Information at www.lavamusic.org.

Submitted under music, but overlooked, LAVA Music is presenting a series of 10 concerts featuring world class musicians this fall at Abounding Grace Sanctuary, 2450 S Kolb. He was a country heartthrob in the early 80's and went on to play opposite Linda Ronstadt in La Boheme and the lead role, Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" on Broadway. He's a versatile and highly entertaining performer with an uncanny ability to connect with the audience on an intimate level.
