A choice between bad and worse. You pick which one is which.
What the heck does he think Columbus day is? That's about as white and imperialistic as it gets. It's a two for one holiday. I (a white person, almost) personally feel we have enough bank and post office holidays as it is.
Good for her. I am very glad and proud to have had Gabby for my representative. Her journey through this tragedy has shown the world what an amazing person she is, but we in D8 knew it all the time. She should focus on her health and her family now. As for D8, I hope we get someone even close to being as good.
Well, there's something that will get me out to vote. I'm also a member of the ABF club.
I'd say she is just describing what she has seen. If the shoe fits, wear it, Teabaggers. If there wasn't some truth in what she says, people wouldn't be getting their panties in a bunch over it. IMHO, there's enough blame to go around, everyone has had their fair share in this downfall. Politics and our government has become rotten from the inside out, and it will continue to rot until we decide to change things.
Well, now we are really going to see what "less government" means for our state. I think this is a totally necessary step, although probably not with the results our brave legislators anticipate.
I have been thinking a lot lately about less government, which I'm starting to agree is a good idea. By the way, considering the way our elected officials have been performing their jobs, I wondering why do we need them? After all, we could save a lot of money on their salaries and socialized medical care. They are pushing for outsourcing other government functions, so why don't we fire them and outsource their jobs to a reputable accounting firm? BAM, balanced budget!
I think I'm on to something here.
Wow, Gospel music sure has changed! My dear old church-going aunties must be spinning in their graves over this modern Christian music. LMAO.
