'' We do have rules about having good moral character."---- Sorry, but the phrase 'good moral character' and dog racing are like oil and water. Never the two shall meet as long as profits are to be made from these dogs who cannot speak for themselves and who are treated like crap. In any animal 'industry' greed always trumps the animal's welfare. SHAME!
Once again, the dogs are the ones who are suffering and being betrayed. Shame on this abhorrent neglect of the dogs' welfare, and may you all be reprimanded!
Thank you Tim Vanderpool. You are doing a great job exposing the ugly and cruel world of Greyhound Racing.
Quit throwing good money after bad--- this is a horrible waste of taxpayer's money.
Thank you Tim Vanderpool for this additional article further shaming Tucson Greyhound Park. Leaving the Park in charge of 'policing itself' is a pathetic joke. One day, hopefully soon, this miserable place will be closed down for good! Tim, PLEASE keep these stories coming. It is this very kind of exposure that the general public needs to know how disgusting dog racing is.
Tim Vanderpool--THANK YOU for writing this article and exposing what the truth is. It is through continuing stories about the horrors and abuses that these beautiful dogs face every day that will get the word out about how horrible greyhound racing truly is. Pleae keep up the great work.
the conditions at this track come as no surprise as this is the hell on earth that racing Greyhounds are forced to live with day after day. When will this hideoustrack close? May the day come soon when ALL greyhound tracks are no longer!
