So are Justin Bieber's present rapping skills. Ah... bad pun.
To add more to my comment, part of Tucson's imagery problem is its increased crime rate and, for lack of a better term, its cultural attitude that prevents a "friendly" sense of assimilation. The crime scares northerners; the differing cultural attitude, I think, is because of socioeconomic divide. Look at the average northerner and compare their attitude, economic nest egg and worldview to the average in-city resident. I'm not saying one person is better than the other, I'm saying they're quite different. For the record, I don't complain about Tucson's infrastructure.
