South Tucson, please hold that vet accountable. And Arizona needs to close this track - racing isn't a sport, it's cruelty.
Thanks Tim V. and Tucson Weekly for covering this story.
Time to end this inhumane sport in Arizona. Tracks are closing around the country as their attendance goes down and protests of dog cruelty go up.
Thanks to Tim V and the Tucson Weekly for following this story.
Just say no to greyhound racing. First of all, it's cruel to the dogs. Second, they've hired powerful lobbyists to get them out of paying their fair share of taxes. Not exactly fair to the rest of us, is it?
I'm glad this is getting the attention it deserves. Thanks to Tim Vanderpool for covering this story.
Vitamins from corn syrup? WTF? South Tucson Citizen, you are clearly uninformed. Corn syrup has lots of calories but zero nutritional value.
Here's a link to FDA document on corn syrup - http://www.fns.usda.gov/fdd/facts/hhpfacts…
First of all, thank you Tim and Tucson Weekly for your coverage of the problems at the TGP.
There needs to be a way for the inspectors to make surprise inspections at anytime - just like inspectors in other industries involving animals.
But the best solution of all is to close the track. It's all about the gambling and the dogs are the unfortunate victims.
Greyhound racing is about gambling and the dogs are the means to the end - money.
Close down greyhound racing. It's a barbaric sport where innocent animals are abused, maimed and sometimes die. People can still go gamble at a casino where no innocent creatures get hurt.
