Thanks to the Weekly for returning the side-bar with vital info if we want to visit. It was a pain to go though the article to find open times, address, etc. And then go to the web to find what wasn't in the article. I appreciated the Plus and Minus in the side-bar, too. Can they return?
OK, look. Before you start a flame war against poor Tom, consider this. I don't always agree with Tom, but I _ALWAYS_ learn something from him. Perhaps it is that I'm right after all; sometimes it is something I hadn't thought of before. Tom's job is not to confirm my (or your) preconceived notions, but to teach us something. Open your mind. Read Tom and learn something. I won't tell you what, but I learned something from him today. You can, too. Thank you, Tom.
Perhaps they added it, but it is in the third paragraph from the bottom. This feature used to have a side-box with all the essentials about the place - address, phone, open hours, a list of plusses and minusses. Wish they would put that back.
Actually, the biggest losers would be the drug dealers on the streets. Their revenue would dry up in a heartbeat.
Here's the thing about guns, and why we need them in the hands of the criminally insane. Right now, no woman will have sex with me, even though I wave my guns around all the time! But when someday some insane gun owner barges into a restaurant where a pretty girl is eating, and I whip out my gun and stop him from harming her, she will owe me for the rest of my life - anything I want from her. She'll be so grateful. But if he isn't allowed to have a gun, this will never happen. Besides, they might also take MY guns away, which would doubly defeat me getting laid. Now do you see?
The current members of the Commission ran on the slogan, "Do YOU want to pay HIGHER utility bills?" Evidently a vote for them meant a vote "YES!". Arizona has the best politicians money can buy.
Steve M. - it is obvious we NEED the state legislature, to protect us from all those unfair federal laws, and to stop counties and cities from passing any laws. Unless they agree with a federal law, and then they pass a law that we must obey all those. Doncha see?
