To accuse Obama of trying to destroy the Republican party is patently ridiculous. Republicans are doing a FINE job of that, themselves.
This is the only source of genuine news about Tucson, unless you want to find what the Kardashian sisters did this week. Thanks. As for Danehy, I don't always agree with him, but I do always learn something from him. But, then, his job is NOT to write something I agree with, but to make me think and learn.

Ten months ago, Arizona elected the three Republicans running for the Corporation Commission. Their platform was to keep utility rates low. What they never told anyone was, their method was to eliminate the renewable energy requirements.
Their advertising posed questions like, 'Do you want to pay higher utility rates?' You can pretty much guess what people's answer is to that. However what they really stood for was getting rid of renewables.
But, the people have spoken, they want low rates, at any cost.
