I'm still a big fan of Gavi's (especially their lemon-crab ravioli). For non-marinara dishes, I think I still prefer them. I've tried everything from North and Vivace, to Fiorito's to Caffe Milano (another favorite), and points in between (no Olive Garden). I'd love to get more suggestions for great marinara to test Ascolese's against, if I've missed one.

Update: Police left the area around noon but recovered the gun. They are following up leads in the neighborhood.

Amen to Nancy Grace as the anti-Christ. I've not seen a more putrid, hateful human being on television since the former model on that VH1 reality show. Personally, the greatest loss for me was that Nancy Grace replaced the object of my TV celebrity stalker obsession: news hottie Rudi Bakhtiar.
