Manifesto/Bio

I emigrated from New England to Rio Rico, 15 years ago this past June. I deliberately chose a location near the border with Mexico. That's likely because when I grew up as a poor kid in a western Pennsylvania coal-mining town, I was inspired by a 7th grade geography teacher who loved and admired Mexico. Also, by a high school teacher of Spanish, a musical language I've come to love. I also admit to being a hypocrite. Because I have so little patience with my friends that can only feel comfortable viewing human behavior only in terms of "right vs. wrong." Which means, I suppose, that when I put them on my poop list, I've also joined the "Right vs. Wrong Club?"
