I'm a practitioner and researcher in the field of ecopsychology--helping people remember how to think and act the way that nature works, and the health and wisdom that can be gained by doing so. A founding member of Transition Pima, I advocate for policy changes that adhere to the definition of true sustainability, which includes steady-state local living economies. We must start crafting pragmatic and viable responses to the rapidly converging Triumvirate of Collapse--Peak Oil, global warming, and corporatism. Fortunately, the process known as relocalization provides a framework for doing so, as well as providing increased opportunities for improving quality of life--which shouldn't be confused with standard of living.
