If you’re in the mood for some true Chicago-style food, Kenney D’s is the place to stop. The Italian beef can’t be beat—it’s tender, flavorful and incredibly tasty; and the Chicago dog gives Luke’s a run for its money (maybe because the owners are father and son?). The décor isn’t much to look at but the portions are huge, the food is hot and everything is inexpensive. Fries aren’t included with sandwiches but they’re definitely worth the extra few bucks.
