the Tucson area at our only standup comedy venue. These people are funny and
they're coming here just for us. Tickets are available at the door. $15 along with a

Can't wait to celebrate our trolley!!
I couldn't agree more with the recent negative reviews. Our experience at the show was not just disappointing, but was really downright insulting. The food was inedible and the cast was absolutely terrible. Maybe years ago the show was good, but now it's just a bad middle school level improv that even a cast member's parent couldn't enjoy.
When they passed out the envelopes for the cast/servers "tips" (while pleading about how hard they had worked), we got up and walked out with about 3/4's of the audience. The comments on the parking lot were far funnier than anything said "on stage" that night.
Just wanted to make the correction that the 1973 film, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, stars Katharine Hepburn instead of Bette Davis (it was a mistake in the initial press release). Also, the short presentation by Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Harold Dixon, occurs just prior to the Widescreen Wednesday screening on February 19, 2014.
So many different events at this event: food and drink, entertainment, art exhibits, an auction, and more. It's one of those events where you plan on walking around for a couple of hours and end up spending the entire day. The big question: what color cowboy hat should I wear? I remember the Standells doing "Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White."
It's Back to the WELL.
Miss Sunny and Quetzal coming in hot all the way from LA! Can't wait dance to the awesome music.
So excited for this event. Great music, great dancing, awesome times!
One of their regulars came at me with a pool stick. He was pissed because I mispronounced his name. Now he came at me with this pool stick raised saying "I'm gonna kick your ass". I reacted by going at him. They kicked me out.
Show was 'ok', not impressive. Acrobats not very experienced.
Here's a show teaser for The Conscience of Love: http://vimeo.com/84926102
The EL Nacimiento display is pretty amazing, the detail, the work that went into it. We found it almost by accident, when told about it by a woman in a nearby museum/shop. The El Nacimiento is in a very non-descript building that had to be pointed out to us. Well worth seeing, worth a trip to Tucson to see it.
Buju Blues rocked the house tonight at the Hide Out
Would not recommend to anyone. It was low budget, amateur, sound system failed, food was cooled and gross. Show was stupid and not funny. Very corny! Actors looked like they did not want to be there. Drinks were over priced. We went on New Year's Eve and paid $75 a ticket for the dinner and show plus additional entertainment for New Year's Eve. Definitely did not get what we paid for. Do not go to this show! 12/31/13
I am chronically-ill and disabled with special medical dietary needs (medically and doctor ordered since 1993.) St. Pius refuses to provide foods I can tolerate and only gives me foods which I am deathly allergic to! This also holds true for the Community Food Bank! (This is the equivalent of giving a child with severe peanut allergies peanut butter sandwiches!!)
St. Pius tells me "eat these (gluten) foods or starve."
Thanks anyway Holy Mother Church .... I'd rather starve than eat foods which make me deathly ill..................................... May God bless you too!

I am so excited to be apart of this in Jan. representing my StampinUp business!
At Bisbee Boy - why would they want to keep AZ's 'economy moribund' when they live here too? Destroy their own economy? I don't think so. And they are not trying to stop 'any and all opportunities to develop' but just would like higher quality standards in development. Even our own Environmental Protection Agency wrote a letter urging the mine not get permitted and they write national environmental standards.
FYI... It says at the beginning that the Rosemont Mine Reps declined to participate.
