Keep Tucson Lenny!!!
That God dude had his fly down when we walked by! Pretty sure he's going to hell for that!
He misspelled 'masturbators' too. All that jaggin' off has ruined his eyes.
It is so funny how this is the same column that constantly bashes the azds.
They want their Mayberry back. Problem is, for most it never existed. It was a fantasy reserved for those with the right income and skin color. Over the years, this bubble has been getting smaller and smaller, but unfortunately stronger. It will eventually fall under it's own weight, but not without doing this nation serious harm first. They've already made us painfully aware that they'd rather see this country burn, than be wrong. It will eventually die a natural death. But some things are never dead enough.
The Jesus Freak misspelled Atheists on his sign...
Lenny Mental is such a badass dude. Fuck yeah!
Wasn't be part of the original "gutterpunk" movement? He's a tucson legend!
Thank you, Lenny! A Tucson icon.
I have a new hero! Thanks Lenny!
.....go to their website www.theshadydell.com and check out the online reservations. The Shady Dell is closed for the Winter, but will reopen mid February. I'm so excited to see this article / post! ((((Love, Jen's Mom <3) ))))
I saw this brilliant production @the Sunday matinee - I felt as tho I was back in NYC. If you miss this version of Cabaret, blame no one but Urself.....
Hey Kevin Johnson... Having worked with Samantha Ptashkin for nearly five years I can say she is unequivocally the best multi-media journalist in Tucson. She's the whole package: smart, good judgement, a great writer and (maybe) the best photographer in the market. IF you had half her brains, talent and class you wouldn't be posting such drivel. But then given your past posts and clear regressive political leanings it's clear television isn't a source of news for you but rather a source for masterbatory material.
"...Congressman Raul Grijalva was one of 32 Democrats who opposed the budget deal..."
Because he opposes everything positive.
Oye' very! It seems Lisa Frank has been a poison pen since day one...harkening all the way back to their location at Miracle Mile/Flowing Wells.
Funny. I never bought any of her products for the same reason.
Nam6870vet: Wait, are you talking about the Cover-Up or a concert mentioned in an advertisement? If it's the Cover-Up, you have the dates wrong...it ran from the 12th through the 14th. If it's an advertisement you're talking about, I don't have any control over those...I don't even generally see them until the paper is printed.
So, thanks for noticing something, I guess?
Regina: If I didn't welcome "controversial" comments, this website would very different, I promise.
But, hey, if you don't enjoy the Weekly lately, I apologize. Feel free to email me with constructive criticism, if you'd like.
with the abandonment of science, logic and reason in the republican and tea party platform, I find the irony in your statement(s) supremely amusing.
