Re: “T Q&A

Jes is great! When a woman has confidence in herself, especially when most of society wouldn't consider her attributes normal or attractive, it can be very sexy. All the haters can stuff it! I'm sure Jes would agree.

P.S. I love that frosting hairdo.

Re: “Eat Bugs: They are Tasty, Healthy and Part of the New World Order

The FDA allows food to contain a certain amount of bugs in it already. I guess if it's out of sight, it's out of mind. It doesn't mean that it doesn't exist though.

Re: “Seriously, People, Tell Domestic Harmony to Go F—k Itself

Wow. You really don't understand anything do you, Mammey? One would hope that you are someone who gets off on posting sarcasm and duping the masses into believing you are serious. If you are pulling the wool over my eyes, then you are doing a great job of presenting your sarcasm. Unfortunately, I get the feeling that you are actually being serious. Your posts are (un?)intentional comic fodder for the masses. Either way, at least you are entertaining. Keep up the good (bad?) work.

Now I know (and agree) why nobody watches.

Re: “Community Conundrum

I am straight, but have had very some positive dealings with Wingspan and hope they get thru this, whatever it really is. The people above who find Tucson so offensive strike me as the ones who gripe and groan no matter where. So you pine for the west coast (yucck), just go there.

Doesn't surprise me that it would be that creep!! It sounds like something he would do.

Re: “Sen. Melvin on Medicaid Expansion: "We're Not Going To Roll Over and Play Dead on This"

Interesting how the Republicans hate healthy people. Wanting to defund or not fund health care for seniors and other people. Even Speaker Boehner held the 38th vote in the House this week to kill the health care bill. Costing Taxpayers tens of millions with every vote he takes.
Republicans are against a health nation, but they push guns for the NRA. suppress voting rights. Are Republicans not the REAL TERRORIST of this nation. I think so.

Re: “Danehy

Hooray for the O'Odham nation. The law is clear....they have the right to be compensated for land lost to flooding by federal dams. Their plan to build on land near Glendale's stadium and entertainment complex is shrewd. If the same plan were being pushed by some Snottsdale group of investors, it would be viewed as a display of business acumen. Neanderthal Congressman Trent Franks and Go-nowhere oppose it? That in itself is reason to like the idea.

Re: “The Folks at Amy's Baking Company In Scottsdale Have Gone Insane [Update: They Were 'Hacked']

A.J., MisterBill, misrepresenting, it is a shame that the majority of "likes" recognize and believe that a petition is probably required to compel a labor agency in AZ to do their expected job of protecting the labor force. It speaks volumes.

Re: “Community Conundrum

On May 17 I requested that this article be corrected. I worked at Wingspan from April 15, 2008 until I resigned effective July 31, 2009, for a total of 15 months and 2 weeks.

Odder yet, that maroon-shirted fellow is local businessman Chris Edwards from Tucson Appliance fame.

Re: “A Rather F—king Timely Note on Swearing

"Fuck" is useful as virtually every article of speech. It's got punch, a nice rhythm, sets up other words well and generally is a very important part of modern speech. The more it's used the more it becomes somewhat desensitized and "acceptable" in general, but it will probably always retain enough shock value to be effective, I think.

So, fuck yeah, use it liberally.

Re: “TV Ad Hammers Flake on Background Checks

Had Senator Flake supported the bad idea of a background check as proposed in the deeply flawed Senate Bill, he would have done a great disservice. I, for one, view this ad by the Bloombergs of our country, as proof positive that our senator is doing his job.

Keep the faith Jeff and keep doing what is right for America and Arizona.

Re: “A Rather F—king Timely Note on Swearing

Profane (profanity et al) from the Latin that which is against the sacred, blasphemy, heresy. Before we can agree on what is profane we must agree on what is sacred. By demanding all speech bow to your vision of sacred you chose to elevate your God to preeminence over all other veiws of religion, establishing a state religion and banning speech against your Gods. For the sake of my view on the 1st amendment please keep your god off of my fucking tongue.
