Eric is the best!!!!! He has been maintaining our garden for the past 3 years and he is the main reason we remain loyal to Sundrea (and previously Sheldon). Service is easy to schedule thanks to Nicole's efficiency.
I took the week-long Yi Bi Zi (one-stroke) calligraphy training with Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha in Toronto last summer. It was sooooo amazing! I have never studied Chinese calligraphy. We each one received personal attention of Master Sha to assist us to write the characters correctly and beautifully. We learned the deep spiritual significance and healing power of the characters we created. You will be very blessed to attend this rare introduction to this rare and very unique style of calligraphy which can be used for healing, and much more. <3
Definitely something everyone should see... I loved it and plan to return again on Holloween. I give it five stars.
The best Beer garden in Tucson....
We have been eating at Little Poca Cosa now The Little One for 13 years. We ate there yesterday. When I saw the name change I was concerned that the ownership changed. What a relief to see Sandra! When you decide on The Little One for lunch you get the loud music and a joyous owner. It rocks. Our group ordered 3 Chicken Moles and 1 Tamale, Ginger Basil Lemonade and 2, "you can get those anywhere drinks".
This is lunch and a love fest. If you don't want to pay cash, go with the flow and give hugs, there are plenty of other places in downtown that are less colorful and cost more. For those who think this freshly prepared, locally sourced, original menu items are pricey, this isn't McDonald's! It is very good value for the price.
I'm really looking forward to this years Tucson Celtic Festival Scottish Highland Games! There is always cool stuff happening and the music and dancing is awesome.
Great food. Good prices. Recommended.
STRAIGHT SHOT AGAIN! AWESOME .. 4 ORIGINAL BAND MEMBERS STILL HAVE IT AND MORE !!!1
The house dressing, feta and garlic, is to die for!
I love how clean this place is compared to many other Tucson venues. Great staff, great stage, great lightshow. The band B-SIDE is easily one of Tucsons finest rock bands - outstanding musicianship, and an amazing array of songs. You rarely hear a band with such a deep repertoire of music and the skills to play every note spot on.
Great place to hang out and just chive on. Check out the website http://RiversEdgeLounge.com
This event is also happening on Sunday at 7pm! It's a slightly different line up so if you come back you'll see all new things!
This band slams! Just saw them over at the Rialto... They did a cover of gnarls barkleys' Crazy, it was bad ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait till there album drops!
Not sure what is up with the negative comments. . . I have never had anything but PHENOMENAL meals at The Little One; there isn't a bad choice on the menu. My personal favorites are the Cochinito en Chipotle, and the Mole; also unbelievable Chile Rellenos and Tamales, AND AMAZING limonadas and fresh fruit drinks that will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!! (try the beet-mandarin limonada if she has it). Incredibly fresh food made with love, and, yes, hugs (and generally kisses too) are mandatory. Service is fast and friendly. SO, if you are uptight you might not like the vibe (loud music and an owner who loves her patrons), but only a fool or a philistine would not love the food!
I wasn't sure what to expect when my friend invited us but holy cow, I can't believe I never knew about this place! It is huge! We went with the kids and had a blast - TONS of vendors. Lots that are selling clothes and stuff from L.A., tools, bookstore, car stuff but also some super cool estate sales, antiques, yard salers. You can actually buy beer and walk around the entire market with it! There were a bunch of kids rides, food vendors and some live dancers on the stage too. The whole place felt more like a fair or festival then what I tihnk of as a swap meet but the bargains are definitely there too. My husband found a perfect condition car rack for $30! He had been planning on buying a new one that was $350. It's fun to treasure hunt here - we will definitely be back.
