Re: “CataVinos Wine Shop and Tasting Room

Always a joy to stop in at Cata Vinos. Yvonne and the staff are always so helpful in helping find the right wine for my tastes. So many wonderful wine to choose from, and it isn't necessary to bust my budget on pricey wines. Highly recommended.

Re: “Roman Barten-Sherman & the Interstellar Blues Orchestra Album Release

I have heard Roman Barten-Sherman play solo several times on the Congress patio. At a mere 12 years old his mastery of vintage acoustic blues is beyond phenomenal. You will probably be hearing much more about this young prodigy in Tucson (and beyond) so if you have any appreciation at all for early blues go see them on Saturday. You will be glad you did.

Wow, this is great. Dance is the only kind of exercise I like but most exercise classes are just jumping around to the music. Here you get exercise and learn real dancing.

You start with the basic steps (which are an exercise in themselves) and then see how they evolve into the different dances. Yolanda is great at not only breaking the steps down but also seeing exactly which part of your body isn't quite right. She has tips about partnering, so you can further refine your dancing once you know the basics.

Designed to give you the basis and confidence to go out on the town.

Re: “Indoor-Outdoor Antique Fair

I attended this event for the first time today and I loved it! A good amount of booths, great homemade baked goods, and free admission. There was a great assortment of items and the prices were reasonable. I can't wait to go to the next fair!

Re: “No Excuse Mom Free Workout

I haven't been able to make it to the workouts yet because I work on Saturdays, but I absolutely love this group! Everyone is so nice and supportive and I love seeing people's meal plans, and their personal journeys. Everyone's journey is different and it's so nice to have a group of people who understand that and are willing to support each other regardless of where they are personally.

Re: “Southwest University of Visual Arts Galleries

Southwest University Of Visual Arts, the Woods, staff and students created an atmosphere of acceptance and respect for all thirty-five years ago and now, because it's the right thing to do.

How do I know?

I was affiliated with SUVA for over twenty of SUVA'S thirty-five years. Also, I've worked thirty plus years in most aspects of advertising and marketing; so I've seen a thing or two, maybe even three; diversity and respect for all are key ingredients at SUVA.

Re: “No Excuse Mom Free Workout

Laughter, exercise, support, and comradery; this is how I describe No Excuse Moms Tucson. These ladies are supportive and uplifting to ALL women. They are genuinely friendly and welcoming to everyone who takes part in the group. This group is proof that EVERY mom has the ability to do at least something every day to positively impact her own health and set an example for her family.

Re: “CataVinos Wine Shop and Tasting Room

Great wines, great prices, and best of all the staff and shoppe are animal friendly! Cuvee the dog and Vino the cat are wonderful additions to this lovely shoppe. Wines from around the world, fabulous bargains for Wine Club members, with an option to donate a small monthly amount to local charities. Do us all a favor and skip the Big Box Wine stores!

Re: “Cuadro Arte Latino Internacional

The art is so beautiful, the staff is friendly, the gallery is nice and cool, and the art is priced to sell fast. It is smart to buy a painting here now because the paintings value will go up really fast in the near future. I bought several Ben and Johnny Impossible paintings, they are my favorite! I love SecretArtwork.com !

Re: “Daisy Mae's Steak House

Probably the best ribeye i have ever had. My wife said her filet was equally as good. This place is a hidden gem. Some friends suggested we give this place a try and we are so glad we did. I am putting this restaurant in my all time top five. Somehow I found room for dessert and the chocolate mousse was killer.

Re: “CataVinos Wine Shop and Tasting Room

Fabulous neighborhood find! Friendly owner, great staff, and wonderful tastings, all for reasonable prices, and then there's the shoppe dog, Cuvee, who greets everyone with a full wag. The price for the wine tasting is very reasonable, and palate cleansers are included - then there's the best deal, buy a bottle of wine from the tasting and you get $2.00 off your tasting; buy a case and your tasting is free - what could be better. Yvonne makes sure everyone gets questions answered, educates you in an easy manner, and is always available during shoppe hours to help you select the best choice for your tastes. Please visit CataVinos so it can continue to stay open.
