I have eaten here a number of times now and enjoyed the food, service and ambiance more than any other Indian restaurant I've ever been to. I felt so confident in this restaurant that I finally talked my son-in-law from England into trying it!! After 12 years in the states he said he finally found a proper Indian restaurant! Being from England and being that Indian food is his favorite, I think that is a great compliment! Keep up the superb work Saffron!
Went back this year and I was surprisingly amused. I think this is worth a look now.
The Exception is a fun local band that plays rock from the 70s-now, and the Edge has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. No cover charge!
Great event and supports a great cause. Each year gets better and better.
If you are a blonde, Mauricio is your man!! He is hella talented when it comes to color. Plus, he goes the extra mile to correct your color the right way not just half a$$. He wants you looking good and feeling confident when you leave his salon. Also, having extensions… He saved me money. My previous stylist, (at a totally different salon), told me I could not reuse them. Mauricio took one look and said, "of course you can!" Then went on to properly educate me about extensions. It’s rare to find a stylist who will not try to take advantage. Mauricio is a true gem and my hair will be forever thankful.
Weekend wine tastings at CataVinos are fantastic. Along with your 6 tastes (amazingly priced at just $10.00!!!) you get gourmet cheese as well as palette cleansers. Yvonne also has a really nice assortment of reasonably priced cheeses, meats, and crackers for purchase to accompany your wine. After your tasting you can purchase a glass of your choice for just $5.00. Each week the wine list is built around a clever theme so you can go every weekend and be sure to taste completely different wines. I've gone there on a whim on my own, planned with friends, and had many personal parties there and I always bring out of town guests there. The atmosphere is lovely both inside the shop and outside on the patio. This is one of the best spots for Tucson fun and a great way to support local business!
Amber does a great show.....I truly hope that people understand the dedication it takes to perform for an audience so many times a week, with a smile on your face, no matter how your feeling or what you might be going through. Amber excels at this, a true inspiration to those of us who are unable to filter life accordingly . Michele LaPlante
need to remove this. no longer there
Excited for this event!!!!
Took my wife and two sons here last week and we had a blast. The food wasn't important to us, as was the acting and the show. The actors were really funny and hilarious. We laughed out loud on many of the jokes and we still talk about them. Alcohol (well only for us), food and good laughs always go great together. It is a great night out for couples and families. Kids had such a great time!
Don't miss this event!
This a great way to get outside, into the beautiful private gardens of University trained Master Gardeners. Passive water harvesting, composting, abundant desert wild flowers and beautifully arranged desert adapted plants are featured in the garden in the photo. Three other private garden are also open , with unique, beautiful and differing landscapes to enjoy and learn from, along with the Demonstration Gardens at the Extension Campus at 4210 N. Campbell (just south of River).
This event is actually $10 per person with a $2 discount for members of SABHF & KXCI. Still - Rawls is worth the price. Come on out!

We love the LIttle Poca Cosa. The food fresh and delicious, and the service warm and friendly. In fact, we are heading out with our family in about 5 minutes to enjoy another thoroughly enjoyable lunch at our favorite little corner restaurant in Tucson ..
Karaoke is EVERY Wednesday and Friday! Stop by and sing with us!!
The food is very good, different from other sushi restaurants because it also has Mexican food and the tacos are the best!!
Best tucson pottery.
