Re: “Tacos by Daylight

donkiyoti,

Tucson has over 1 million people that live in the metro area. When I was in the military and could count how many times I ate at a non-vegetarian restaurant that far west. So, my point was it is unfortunate for me personally, since I could go somewhere else. Luckily for me, being a vegan does not effect eating Mexican food. There are other options, many that do not just include beans and rice.

As for having an online menu, just my recommendation to the owner if by chance he reads my comment.

I understand the steps that happen when I call a restaurant. If it was not worth their time to put a menu online for me, it is not worth my time to call them. I guess you are older or you do not text, who calls people anymore?? :)

Re: “Huppenthal Takes Another Run At Explaining His Blog Comments (And Other Things)

Let's work hard to make sure that John Huppenthal is the biggest loser in November.

Re: “Huppenthal Takes Another Run At Explaining His Blog Comments (And Other Things)

Huppenthal rails against those who are in need of public assistance. Yet, if anybody has been on public assistance in Arizona for an extended time, it is John Hoppenthal. He was in the House until term limited. Then in the Senate until term limited. And now he is attempting to do the same as Superintendent of Public Education.

The solution: vote for David Garcia!

Some people understand that you cannot dig your way out of a hole. Hupp isn't one of them.

Re: “Huppenthal Takes Another Run At Explaining His Blog Comments (And Other Things)

Sway doo nyms? Seriously? And this bozo considers himself to be educated? And his language and comments were a little rough? Huppenthal is nothing but a deluded, far right-wing fanatic who has lived in a fantasy world since childhood.

Re: “Fook and Mishell to Leave KFMA

Fook was great before she showed up. She brought the whole show down. She wasn't funny and was generally annoying. Good riddance......

Re: “Ted Nugent Endorses Dark Horse GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Frank Riggs

So Riggs will get the pants-shitting, draft-dodging, assault weapon-carrying vote? Somehow, I don't think Nugent fans will carry him into Babbitt tower.

Re: “Danehy

See what ? Never mind. Manuel, I guess your remarks are aimed at what I had to say. Let me start by correcting you. I'm getting pretty good at this around here. I am NOT a Republician. I'm a regestered Independent. I probably have more axes to grind with the G.O.P. than you do. As far as me being a conservative and retired, at least you got somethings right. If never having to work again at age 54 makes me a dimbulb, I wish I was a cronic dimbulb. That way I could have packed it in at age 50. You're obviously upset with me for playing the revisionist card. whatever that is. Most of what you had to say is from things in the past. I notice you could not offer us one ecomonic plan that Obummer has had to offer. Well, at least you had the cajones to respond. Nice try Tom, nice try Manuel.

Re: “Tacos by Daylight

Another new and well-worth-trying taqueria on Campbell is up on Campbell and Ft Lowell. It's called Taqueria Pueblito and is inexpensive and delicious. Finally, good Mexican food on the North Side!

Re: “Danehy

Ah yes... nice to the cabal of unemployed and retired conservative dim bulbs who regularly comment on Tom's columns are still going for the revisionist card... as if Lincoln and T.R. (heck even Ike) would be welcome in the modern GOTP. It's a delicious irony that a party which came into being as a reaction to the navtism, fear and bigotry of the Whigs is itself descending into irrelevance because it has embraced what it once despised. Enjoy your RINO hunts ladies... it's you who'll be extinct.

Re: “Video of Tucson Streetcar Ride Down 4th Ave Underpass

What I want to know is?.......who gets to hose down the vomit from the drunk U of A students at the end of the night?
So who is this Gene Caywood guy who loves playing with toy trains that we have to pay $197,000,000 worth of my money? He is listed in the Star as the "Visionary" who dreamed up this mess. And we need fewer "visionary" people in this city and more accountants.
