Guess it's a slow news day? Funny I guess. Maybe some day you can get a real newspaper job.
But on the other hand she had a nice figure under that costume!
Another stupid "survey". They are written by people with too much time on their hands or with an agenda of some type.
Tucson Weekly please spare us from this junk. Problem is the people in Scottsdale actually have real jobs. They are not selling tie-dyed T-shirts and Birkenstocks and jewelry to each other and calling it an economy.
A real estate company did a study to find excitement in cities. Read that one more time and think about it a moment. Has the absurdity sunken in yet?
Just got back from lunch. The food was delicious! (Red chile beef burrito combo.) The service very friendly, and the atmosphere very pleasant. I'll be going back, for sure.
Just look up Babeu at the New Times (Phoenix). You will then know him a LOT BETTER, sex scandals (homosexual) and all. And it's not that he's gay, it's that he uses him partners.
I need to correct my own comment. The immigration law I commented about was signed by George W, not his father George HW. Apologies for my inaccuracy. So Clinton was long gone at this point.
The only decent morning show in town is leaving?
We can't keep good morning entertainment in Tucson, can we?
Since it was USAmerican policies and support for the decades of right-wing rule in Honduras (still), Guatemala and El Salvador, and the phony USAmerican war on drugs(tm), that created the conditions and maintains the drug cartels that these children are fleeing -- Yep we owe them PLENTY...
As for a nation of laws, ironically enough Obama is following a bush era LAW that requires a fair hearing for each of these children before they can be deported or allowed to stay...or did you MISS that part on fox noise?
The main reason migration has slowed down is because the USAmerican "economy" has tanked while their Communities have gotten marginally better...
Arizona Republicans have NO ability to comprehend cause and effect...
Sorry folks, the starving children in this country can't be fed, we need the A-10 more, we must keep the musket factory open at any cost.
With any luck our starving kids will survive long enough to be the soldiers for our next push for democracy in the middle east
I'll miss Mishell's Jason Statham impressions.
I'm headed there right now for lunch!
mrbigshotno1: that is just a stupid attitude; like cutting your nose off to spite your face. If this rag's reviews bother you so much, why do you read them and comment on them? Is it just so everyone can know how negative you are?
SonoranWinds: did you not notice the address listed right there in the review's sidebar? Is looking up an address difficult for you?
Tom,Tom,Tom. I'm actually embarrassed for you. Where were you when you were supposed to be in class during your High School days? Hanging out at Al's with Richie and the Fonz?
Let's start with your " knowledge" of how Washington works. It's a term called bulletproof. That's when the same party in the White House also has a majority in the Senate and the House. Your president had that for 2 years and couldn't do a thing. He got his stimulas package passed. The one with all the shovel ready jobs. The one that prompted Joe Biden to declare the Summer of recovery. The same Joe Biden who couldn't get arrested if you gave him a brick and a police station window to throw it through. All your Pres. did was give alot of that money to his union pals so they could kick it back to him in campaign donations. So, tell us Tom. Tell us all these great economic plans the Grerat One had. This stooge never ran so much as a lemonade stand. Give him an ice water stand in Tucson in July and he'd be bankrupt by August.
As far as your moronic comment about Republicans being racists. Check your history. 3 years after the end of the Civil War the Senate debated the 14th Amendment which would grant blacks citizenship. 94 % of all Republicians voted yes. Not 1 Democrat did. In 1957 Republican Pres. Eisenhower sent the 87th Airborne to desegregate Little Rock, Ark. This despite the strong objections of Democrat Governer Faubus . In 1960 Ike signed the G.O.P.'s Civil Rights Act despite a 5 day filibuster by 18 Senate Dems. In 1964 Dem. President Johnson signed the second Civil Rights Act despite a 14 hour filibuster by Dem. Sen. and former Klansman Robert Byrd. It also survived an attempt by 22 Senate Dems including Al Gore Sr. to scuttle it.
Nice try, Tom.
It is a race to the bottom. Only the most hateful survive. Welcome to the Repub. Primary.
Bslap, where in that article do you see he was an unaccompanied minor?
Meanwhile, a US citizen has already been killed by one of these catch-and-release "minors."
His real name is Mada Kwasmani, and he is a Mooslim terrorist sleeper from Durkadurkastan.
George HW Bush signed a law stating that children immigrating from non border countries (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador for example) NOT be deported. We are following a Republican sponsored law."
And the law Obama is violating was passed under Clinton. Doesn't matter because I didn't say we shouldn't follow the law.
I said this article was hypocritical when it chastised protesters for not following a law when it has lauded other examples of not following the law. It's all based on whether the author agrees with the law or not.
Immigration reform is just cover for higher immigration, lower wages, and more environmental degradation to support high profits for a few. They lead liberals around by making them pissed off at conservatives and appealing to their guild so they get behind immigration reform that's against their own interests.
Just when Tom has had a thoughtful entertaining series of articles I enjoyed, he comes through with his usual liberal dogmatic BS that reminds me what a Dumb$#% he actually is. OH, I stooped to name calling, well, I want to be just like Tom LOL
Career Researcher.... when someone devotes 4 years of their life to get the necessary Federal agency approvals to perform the research, they own the study - plain and simple. MAPS stands behind Dr. Sisley, and has communicated their intentions to UofA.
I think that you would be better off debating the results of the study and identifying any bias in the resulting data, than to continue to advocate for Dr. Sisley's replacement.
You choose to hide behind the anonymity of the internet, as is your right. However, everyone reading your comments will begin to question your own intentions and bias. Do you wish for Dr. Sisley to be replaced by someone more aligned with your own beliefs?
