We all need to take action against the source of bullying and let kids, parents, teachers, principals and politicians know that bullying is NOT okay. We all need to do something to make a difference.
An amazing young singer-songwriter named Becca Levy is doing just that.
She has started a music based anti bullying group called Right Now.
Here’s a link to her website that has a video of Becca covering “Right Now” by Van Halen. The purpose of the video is to promote awareness to kids using both music and the Internet. The video begins with a public service announcement and is full of statistics that people of all ages need to see.
Becca lives in Washington, D.C. and just turned sixteen years old.

This reviewer missed two important points: 1) Not only is this princess with the flyaway red hair a model for young girls, she is a strong female character for boys to appreciate as well -- and I know several who do. It is long past time for boys to learn that clever and independent girls are admirable and no threat to males of any age. 2) The other message is that even if your mother has been transformed into a she bear, she is stll your mother, and will fight a dangerous male bear at the risk of her own life in order to save yours. Oh, and also, the princess asks that he mother "will be changed," not specifying that she means that her mind will be changed to agree to let the Princess make any decision about marrige. Message -- be careful what you wish for, you might get it -- and find out you should have been more specific.
I just got on Rotten Tomatoes to find a critic who could articulate exactly how I felt about this movie. You have done it! I guess I'll read your stuff more often...
Thought maybe I was simply in disagreement on Grimm's views of many movies and decided to trust him and pay to watch his latest positively reviewed movie, 21 Jump Street. Just wasted 3.99 on the Amazon Instant Video site thanks to this, once again, terribly inaccurate review. Won't you please, please, PLEASE bring back James Digiovanna???? Grimm, you truly embody your last name with each and every inaccurate review. Get it together TW.
As someone who seems to be a connoisseur of cinema, I just can't understand your glowing review of this film. I think there might be two different movies named Prometheus released simultaneously and I must have seen the wrong one. I'm a huge fan of the original Alien movie but I'm definitely not a fan-boy and it doesn't require a rabid loyalty to the original movie to find immense disappointment in Prometheus. This movie fails on some very basic levels. The characters are hollow (most of them serve absolutely no purpose in advancing the story), the dialog is shallow (especially given such a grand premise for the storyline) and the entire film is riddled with plot holes. Ridley Scott has said he deliberately left some questions unanswered in order to enhance the sense of mystery, but the kind of questions I pondered while watching Prometheus were; 'Why did the director/writers do that?', or 'What's the point?" The only thing this movie has going for it are the visuals, but that's just lacquer on a turd. If I didn't know better, I would swear this is a Michael Bay film.

You're right, Bob...but the article was praising Mr. Black's acting talent, not his hilarity, alleged or otherwise. I might just give this one a look-see as it sounds like one hell of a story.
Underworld is gonna rocks...nice movie and nice effect of the movie....must see that at home...and the rest of the movie the blue ray print is much better...nice effect..
The guy is not funny......sorry....but he ain't......
How about a couple of stories on Bruce Willis's dickiness....................
Colin Boyd did a terrific job reviewing this work since there are so few common touchstones to rely on. How can you describe such a piece! It's extraordinary. Makes you scratch your head, look away, look back again, dream, consider possibilities, look again, remember. In this day of homogenized humanity, Pina forces you to realize that other interpretations of reality, thank God, still exist!

Dark Shadows is a big film.
Great review!
However, there are two redundancies in this sentence: "Upon his arrival in New York, Aladeen is kidnapped and tortured (by John C. Reilly in a brief walk-on), and his beard is removed so nobody will recognize the Supreme Oppressor's dead corpse."
A walk-on is brief by definition, and 100% of corpses are dead.
RE: "While I'm at it, I hate most jazz, too!".
Well thanks for fessin' up to your unsurprising bland range of taste "Grimmy". I guess its no coincidence then, that your 'picture-show reports' are typically about as insightful as a slow, thudding 4/4 "New Country" pop tune. (At least Joe Bob Briggs knew he was a parody of a reviewer....but he could also actually be clever.)
Whoops, sorry..Whedon just cowrote "Cabin", apparently (got some bad info from another review).
Actually Bob, Whedon also directed "Cabin in the Woods" - which sat on the shelf for 2 years due to MGM's financial troubles, and is also getting rave critical reviews...
What about a movie on Rogue Trooper?????...............
Re: “Thoroughly Troubling”
Lori? Kori? Colin Boyd, fail.
