How do you know there are 900 Food trucks in Tucson?
Just another place for "cool people" at a "cool location" with a way overpriced menu. Too much dinero just to be "cool"!
On Friday at 6 pm, the two of us waited only 20 minutes. We got the margherita and the wiseguy, and the pizza was legitimately good. One thing about this review, it kind of implies that Bianco has restaurants in California, rather than just tomatoes grown there.
With the excellent pizza in Tucson (to name a few: Reilly, Falora, Time Market), it is beyond absurd to wait two hours for the privilege of ordering a pizza.
When did the original Corleon's close down?
Tried the beef noodle soup. Not so good. Beef was kinda sketchy.
Didn't care for the ramen noodles.
Won't be back.
Oh Heather, because you're new to town I'll let it slide this time, but no list of soups on Fourth Ave. is complete without Bison Witches. Their bread bowl and a half sandwich combo with a beer is a must-have!
It would be nice to also have had a "learning lesson" about availability of beer and wine and prices for those plus the salad offerings. Also, given all the hype about the place, how hard is it to get into? Did you have to wait? Was the place raucous, or could you carry on a conversation?
I like the tacos at Calle Tepa. But I was disappointed when they started charging extra for a basket of chips. I understand that a self-serve system for chips will be abused, and people will just load up basket after basket (one reason why we can't have nice things). But for me it's the fine difference between a good value and not. It seems they could have tried offering one small basket of chips with an order, keeping control of it instead of letting people run rampant.
Revolutionary Grounds has great homemade soups daily, with a rotating selection!
I live in a nearby neighborhood, and it was a real relief to see a good business move in. Hopefully they'll stay!

I would recommend the 'Fried Pork in Scoop' It's my favorite item on their menu.
Being from Newport Rhode Island, we consider ourselves connoisseurs in anything clam, lobster, chourico (Portuguese sausage), or basically seafood related. We look forward to the opening of Jackson Tavern .

Thank you for keeping us in the know about Tucson restaurants' comings and goings. We're winter visitors, so I'm always curious about what has changed.
Change happens with the Chefs are replaced with those that want to serve good meals.
