Re: “The Life at Reilly

Reilly Craft Pizza is one of the best downtown restaurants ever. Serving sizes are not insane, menu items are very inventive and the drinks, well, just read the column. Great place.

Re: “Illustrious Indian

hiiiimarcy, Readers are often wrong. Popularity does not always equal goodness. Keep in mind that readers selected Grill year-in and year-out as Best Diner (when it was neither good nor a diner), and Magpie's as Best Pizza. In this case, the readers may be right but it's still good to see a review that explains WHY Sher-e Punjab is good.

Re: “Mexico Via Washington?

Oh, I get it now.

The new purpose of journalism is to produce hits. More hits must mean better journalism.

This has lead to a new breed of what I'd call 'journalism trolls'. Their objective is not to produce new, factual information. It's not even to avoid being wrong.

In fact, this new type of journalism actively seeks to be demonstrably wrong. In a perverse way, being wrong leads to more attention than being right. As Jon Stewart said of CNN's mistakes--"It's not a bug, it's a feature."

Journalism trolls actually *want* to be wrong, objectionably wrong, because that brings them attention. And, that is the path Ms. Connelly is treading.

Re: “Taco Time

Gio Taco is fun. Portions small, service...confusing??? But great food and fun. We will endure some of the rest when the food is the best. Just be careful not to get any further out of balance.

Re: “Noshing Around

Just as long as Bluefin STEAMS and doesn't BOIL their lobsters, as they've done in the past.

Steaming = tender meat; boiling = tough.

Re: “Beer and Bad Service

Agree with Toby. I can't wait till all this new stuff in downtown fails including the shit holes down the street...all local beer owned by a guy from NY. Get the f out and stay out. This is our town and we like it the way it is....classy. Who wants the freaking beer to change all the time.
