I don't know what happened to my old friend Jim Hatch that I told you I would get you in touch with 3-4 weeks ago. He never got back to me, but I m sure I will hear from him one of these days. Good luck with Margit & Pasquale.
A few years back my life had no meaning, it was like i was struggling to exist but not for long. On my way home one evening i met a very successful friend of mine. We talked about so many things and i opened up to him on how my life was a constant bed of struggles. He told me he would help me. He told me all about the Illuminati and gave me an email address (firstname.lastname@example.org ) that i could use to contact them. I contacted the Illuminati immediately through the email address given to me by my friend. Membership was easy. After i requested for membership into the Illuminati through the above email address, i was initiated into the Illuminati. Three days after initiation, $9 000 000 was sent to my bank account by the Illuminati, i was asked what i wanted to do with my life and i said i wanted to go into construction business. The Illuminati guided me all the way and today my business is worth hundreds of millions of dollars I was a man who had nothing before but now i'm a man of wealth, fame and power. I oblige you to take this seriously and i assure you, you'll be glad you did. Contact (email@example.com ) so that you too can become all you've ever wanted.
Great exhibit, don't forget Kevin Lucero Less' Hollywood Nocturne 8:45, moody - menacing - and ethereal.
We saw it about a week ago with agnostic friends and found it to be quite boring. We quipped on leaving that it was without intermission to prevent the audience from leaving at half time. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
The Etherton Gallery is a wonderful resource for photographic art. Fortunately, while the University of Arizona Library system's horribly mismanaged Center for Creative Photography continues downward in a "death spiral", we still have the Etherton Gallery!
I love TCPS and it's become one of my favorite communities of folks in Tucson after taking just a few woodblock printing classes with Joe. Love the spirit and goals of the printshop and have hopes that they will continue to adapt and grow into the printshop Tucson needs. If you haven't been before just stop by and check out the art being created there! You're bound to walk away with at least a sticker.
I stopped going to Tanline because the owner is hard to deal with not because print making is frustrating and i dont think other tucsonans "lack some combination of time, money and desire to prioritize an esoteric craft" I think some of them felt uncomfortable dealing with him and other people there too. I I just dont want people trying to start community print shops to be discouraged by Jakes failure because Id be willing to go and print again
When my wife and I visited Tucson in 2007 we liked the town but were put off by the fact that there was little in the way of a downtown. In Madison WI where we currently live as well as in other places we visited we were used to being able to 'go downtown' and find something going on...theater, arts, restaurants and bars, etc. We had heard that there was a 'new' downtown before we returned to Tucson last year and we liked what we saw and experienced. The activities available were quite a change...in our opinion for the positive. We still find Tucson to be very affordable.
We bought a home on the east side of Tucson and are moving there next week!
Tucson stopped being Tucson when they changed the name of the park bounded by Broadway,22nd,Country Club, and Alvernon.Anyone else remember?
I truly enjoyed the Estenger mid career survey! To view his extraordinary work in this beautiful space is a great experience. I look forward to seeing more from him!
Address please. Where is the theatre? Thank you.
Thank you, Pasquale. I would like to think that your namesake in the above-referenced musical is singing in his grave. The producer is on-board!
Good Luck, Germaine
Jordan's the real deal. A year or two ago, I had the pleasure of seeing Pilobolus in Scottsdale. The show was amazing.
Great article! But Wynne wasn't 'shooting up'. That's what heroin addicts do. He was injecting a medication.
Wonderful article on a great person who is making MOCA and Tucson happen!!

Nice change from the gimmicky crap art that overpopulates the Tucson art scene.
Way to go Orion! So proud of you!
