"These decisions can't be left in the hands of developers, investors and corporations," Katters concludes.
Well that's exactly who's hands they are left in and no thanks to the Tucson Weekly who some of us remember not only allowed and accepted it, but tried to ridicule and shame anyone who criticized the downtown revitalization of the last 10 years.
Enjoy your rising rents, mediocre overpriced bars and restaurants, and for all intents and purposes shrinking of any true local arts and music scene with the expansion of the mall culture scene.
Wonderful stuff. Thanks!
Any chance you'll ever have something new/current here??
Love me some him
So it seems, after all this buildup, that Morrissey didn't linger long in Tucson...
Way to go, Josh. Just to prove you wrong, DTRadio axed one of them dang wimmin shows. Now when I want to know about how to save on my grocery bill or find out where the Chipndales dancers are going to be who do I turn to? Donahue ain't even on anymore.
I forgot about how great Minor Threat and Black Flag were.
The Clash and The Smiths were both highly overrated.
The Misfits and Dead Kennedys were a lot more exciting.
Don't even get me started on how dull The Ramones and Sex Pistols actually were.
