I wish they would set one up at the Grant Rd or the Speedway locations.

Steve Kozachik is right. These towers exist because rich kids are too precious for regular housing. And now that only rich kids get to go to college, the neighborhood will just have to get used to entitled douchebaggery. Without the civilizing influence of regular people, spoiled brats never grow up.
I'll bet Sony has changed their tune on waterboarding.
I am apprehensive about having police in the schools for the reasons Dave brings up. But I trust that the plaintiffs in the deseg case and the DOJ will be on top of this issue. If not for their presence, I would be very skeptical. It could go very well or very badly. I hope all work together to bring out the best.
A. Most of these kids do not have guns.
B. Some few kids do have guns or knives or seriously bad attitudes which need to be quickly addressed.
C. Drugs & alcohol offenses must be dealt with through court processes, as can child molestation and rapes, etc.
D. Gang issues can be extinguished or lessened by having a present SRO.
E. SROs go through a selection process which attempts to weed out bad potential officers.
F. SROs can be very helpful with aggressive and threatening parents who do not know their proper boundaries and who can disrupt a school in many ways.
Sorry sarge but it was a reference to yesterday's collapse of the ruble to the dollar. Something got lost in the translation.
David makes a great case. Many of these kids have guns.
"Let's be careful out there"
Thank you, John Brown, for pointing out the typo. I fixed it.
Sarge, I appreciate your feedback as well, although I'm not entirely convinced you should be lecturing anyone on clarity in writing.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
KT,, name one thing that Ron Barber did while in ofc. You can't.
Why not ask Tom. Like I said, I never had any of my comments pulled because they were judged to be vulgar and uncalled for.
It must be nice to have parents who pay for your out-of-state tuition at the UofA, your expenses (obviously including an unlimited booze budget), books, a new sporty car, and $1,800.00/month rent at your party residence. I'm sure these young people are all model citizens with a well developed sense of responsibilities imbued by their parents... right....
CW13. With friends like you, who needs enemies?
