Bumsted's does a Bacon Bash at the end of every month. I'm not sure if they are still doing it, but to my knowledge they are. I've had some great bacon laden dishes from them and I don't even like bacon that much (I'm a mutant).
It's sad because the woman has great potential to be successful. She makes great desserts, and the restaurant looks tidy, clean and appealing. She also seems to love cooking.
There were also, always customers in it which is more than a lot of other restaurants have with the challenging economy. Her extreme defensive emotions, as well as her up and down moods could be a medical condition that could be solved with a prescription.
I pray they are enlightened to the universal law - what one sows so shall they reap. Once they understand this, they can take the next step. Otherwise they will have to suffer under the illusion that they are the victims, and everyone else are wrong.
Why do we have this problem? We need to help these animal as much as we can.
What a shame that mankind has done this.
Next to the mythical fairy dust "economy" of the banksters the internet has to be the biggest scam since bogus patent medicines.
Immense amounts of pretend "money" is being moved around (with speculators and sharks at every step dipping their beaks) on "businesses" that have no foot in reality, contribute little or nothing positive to society and last less than 5 years before imploding...
1.1 Billion $$$ for what? From a company that makes that money how?
This was heartwarming to see last night on the broadcast.
Please don't give these losers any more ink/pixels. They are sick (and so are we for giving them any attention).
This restaurant will never be actually open again. Its impossible.
Any titles for the sequel? - "Invasion of the tip-snatchers, an out of your pocket experience" p.s. wonder if there are any Scottsdale labor (or criminal) law students looking for a summer restaurant education?
What is Tumblr and why should I care?
Not too shocking. You hire an unqualified ED who leaves when the going gets tough only 15 months later. A policy analyst (even if a former employee is not nonprofit ED material without more fundraising and leadership experience - no wonder the recession had such a big impact).
Then you leave the organization without true leadership for 3 years???? What do they expect but chaos now and an organization completely adrift with a shifting and uncertain identity and future? This is firmly a problem caused by the board who over the past five years lead the organization to this breaking point.
I am very sad to learn what is going on - but to all my friends in nonprofit management and similar fields it is an important cautionary tale to share. I have seen this type of devastation happen to organizations before from poor board governance and expect to see it again.
As long as it's 'Those OTHER Bad People' each and every one of us will have 6 or 7 billion people to worry about. Let's evolve, for our own sakes.
John McCain was confronted about his ongoing association with the USS Liberty cover-up:

Senator Flake (Fake) can twist it anyway he wants. He's got high paid writers to respond to these ads...but the truth is he lied. He lied to the people of Arizona and he lied to the mother of that slain son. The Grassley bill never came up for a vote. The real vote was the one 45 senators voted down and each and everyone of them received monetary compensation for their vote. It's just sickening that these so called politicians would rather work for those that pay them and not the 91% of the American public who supported the bill!!!!
I stopped watching Kitchen Nightmares because after a few years hearing Ramsey say "bollocks" every five minutes and all the bleeping had become tedious. Obviously, I'm out of the loop on this. Dang! LOL
Hahaha. I can just imagine why this little 'collaboration' ended so quickly.
There are actually four beautiful dogs facing euthanasia this evening. I'd take them all if I could, so many nice dogs in that shelter. Sad.
I live in Scottsdale and I'm going to the grand reopening of Amy's Baking Company tomorrow night. For anyone who wants the lowdown, follow me on Twitter! I'll be tweeting from the restaurant. https://twitter.com/ShannonWilloby
Another grand space adventure for the UA...way to go!
Chris is a good guy, and his father was a man among men. It is weird he is in this, but no need for all that Old Man
These people are sick.
I wouldn't buy anything from that sick SOB at Tucson appliance, he thinks he's funny.
Evidently he doesn't think this isn't going to hurt his business. I have news for him.
