Re: “The Battle for a Solar Arizona

I solved the problem of dealing with utility company shenanigans by going off the grid entirely. With the ACC in the pocket of the utility companies and the constant shifting-sands of fees and regulations on photovoltaic owners, I just didn't want to get caught in that trap. I know that may not be possible for many homeowners to go off-grid due to their home's energy consumption demands, but in general solar is the way to go. The Industrial Age is over; the Information Age has begun.

Re: “Dear Mr. President

President Trump,

Look from the White House to the west upon the row after row of white markers across the Potomac in Arlington Cemetery. Freedom is not free. It cannot be bought with silver and gold, nor is it a commodity to be traded. What you say and do matters. Will it honor those who have paid the ultimate price or will it make their sacrifice in vain. The choice is yours, choose wisely.

Re: “Danehy

Tom let's do this. Let the facts prove the hypothesis. Let's print letters of support for the Affordable Care Act from a sample segment of the population.

To qualify they....

1. Must have had pre existing condition that kept them from healthcare in the past.

2. They were given subsidies to pay the premium they could not afford.

3. They had a medical emergency and used their government subsidised healthcare.

4. They had the $10,000 deductible available and paid it, keeping them from bankruptcy.

5. They have another $10,000 on hand in anticipation of using the ACA plan again in the next five years.

This would be a brilliant piece of journalism that would prove to the American people just how effective and affordable the ACA was and is. Maybe that will shut up all the naysayers.

"Nice to see our daily troll here. What would a day be without 'what's up again'. A man who hates Tucson so much he still lives here, to fulfill his sad compulsive need to complain about his sad unfulfilled life every day."

Only 19 days into 2017 and Kenneth Groves wins the Tucson Weekly comment of the year!

Wrong, Again could combine all the "clever" BS he has ever and will ever post here and it would still take his ignorant ass 1,000,000,000 years to top that one comment you made. Although we all know that comment still will not be as good.

Congratulations! Any other praise which you receive will be well deserved.

"Remember that fear was defined by the left os a phobia based on ignorance. Have a nice walk."

"os". WTF?

It just proves that you can't and won't pay attention. Always slandering the left when you can't even get anything right. Typical.

Are you out of venom yet? Gawd I hope so.

And you've just warmed my heart on this chilly morning with your beautifully written tribute to a fellow musician and Tucson resident. I can't make it to Tucson, but am headed to GoFundMe to make a donation.

Re: “Danehy

Tom is upset because people didn't waste their vote on who he wanted them to? Tom 8th graders are big on crying hypocrite. Grow up and find a way to enjoy the next 8 years. Why not organize community groups to ban and burn bibles? Seems you know God's heart. Hatred has consumed you. Acceptance will cleanse your soul.

Earth to liberals...temperatures fluctuate. Who told you it would never go up or down? Do you ever wonder how we left the ice age? No it wasn't Trump's fault. Put down the Al Gore kool aid.

Re: “Dear Mr. President

This should be required reading for all considering a move to Tucson. It would quickly educate them to the ignorance, hatred and intolerance the 'progressives' have for anyone with divergent views. It could be the spark that moves Tucson from the 6th poorest in the country to Number 1.

Re: “Health Appeal

The ACA. The GOP's alternative to the Democrats Single Payer plan. Written in the GOP's own Heritage Foundation and first passed into law by Mitt Romney in Mass. "Collapsing under it's own weight"? No, handicapped by 28 republican states doing everything in their power to cripple it. So sad.

Re: “Pre-rolled Legislation

Thanks Nick Meyers , for a insight to attempts of forces to control Marijuana.

I believe the legislature will act on marijuana before the next legislative session when the roll of the initiative gains steam.

It is my opinion the biggest reason for the failure of 205. Was a new independent department. A new department that had tax, police, court, license powers away from the power of the legislature.

This Gorilla of a monstrous appetite with wanting a new family to feed. This department would have used the existing Felony laws as a tool.

Anyone would have to be just plain blind to think this Department would not have folded itself into each county attorneys use to tax and run the industry. It had to if they wanted police power to prosecute for felonies. DUH!

Prop 205 was NOTHING at all like how other states have legalized marijuana. This is the lie that wants to perpetuate that it was about legalization. Prop 205 was about retail market control and enforcement of the market PERIOD. MONEY !

There were so many misleading and blatant lies slick willy salesmen. If you quarried anyone of the dispensaries owner or principals of 205 how it was going to work it was always left as TBD (to be determined) so essentially nobody really knew what they were voting for.

Even that 6 plant carrot dangled was a joke. Anyone would ask how was that going to work license? inspection? sign affidavit, gain plant material, report output, buy pre tax clones? All of this was TBD that is the failure of 205 collectively.

Re: “Dear Mr. President

The letter supporting trump did not surprise me. It's understandable that some people would support what trump campaigned on. He did bring to my attention something that I have heard a lot of lately, usually in much ruder and cruder terms, that the last 8 years have been so horrific. That our president has been such a harm to us. The economy saved from one the worst economic collapses the country has ever faced and with an opposition party trying to sabotage him at every turn. The price of gas far lower than the previous 8 years. Unemployment is up, wages are rising for the first time in decades. Illegal immigration is down and he has deported more than every other president in history combined. Crime is down, the murder of police officers is the lowest in 100 years. The number of people killed here in the USA by terrorists is 1/30th, outside a 1/15th the last Administration. He passed the GOP's own ACA. What's so terrible?

Re: “Danehy

I learned something about Tom today too. I learned that he can disagree with someone, even have no respect for them, and point out the reasons without resorting to offensive foul language. Without resorting to wishing them beaten, jailed or killed. He also managed to do it by presenting facts and opinions supported by facts. So rare today. One thing I did not learn was that these people are hypocrites. I've seen that as self evident from their actions for years now.
