Dave, the only thing you said that I agree with is that equality could be easily reached. My ineligibility to work or be protected in the work environment is because I sleep with women, not because I'm harassing my coworkers. I mention my girlfriend or wife and there is no protection. Does that mean I never have to hear another straight person mention their lovers either? I'm really not sure what else you could possibly be talking about.
There is no good reason to deny that we must keep evolving until an adult, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, monogamy or polyamory, race, or religion is free to marry any and all consenting adults. The limited same-gender freedom to marry is a great and historic step, but is NOT full marriage equality, because equality "just for some" is not equality. Let's stand up for EVERY ADULT'S right to marry the person(s) they love. Get on the right side of history!
Grijalva doesn't have concern for anyone other than his goal for and open border and amnesty for illegal aliens.
Kat Crockett: Evidence, please.
GCB1: She's likely resigning because she has a new job that's likely demanding of her time at Easter Seals (she had already resigned her leadership post), but gosh, we thought it might be best to get an answer from her, which she has not yet provided. But, yet, it's still news as her resignation will create a minor chain reaction here politically.
So Dave, homosexuality is OK as long as YOU don't have to know it really exists?
Bless yore little heart.
Raul Grijalva is out in space. Where's his concern for private sector workers who've seen their incomes grow stagnant over the last thirty years?
Now the Democrats will be under the threat of the Republicans putting up another Ethan Orr. Or, I should say, "The Republicans will be under the threat of another Ethan Orr running as a Republican?"
Equaulity could easily be achieved for the homosexual community if they learned to keep their sexual preference to themselves. We have strict laws already prohibiting sexual harassment. Heterosexuals have to keep it in their pants in the work place. If they're being obligated by law to keep it in the closet, what makes being a homosexual immune to the same laws ? There is an appropriate place and a time to exercise ones sexual preference.
Jones says the only thing they are missing is a cook, but otherwise they plan on opening on Jan. 2.
Like saying, opening a gas station and only thing needed is gas!
Because they love gossip..not facts.
Sounds like Tim Vanderpool has ruffled a few feathers. Guess he was doing his job.
Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown.
He does sound like a great man and very wise for 29!
Good for you!
For five hundred years my people have dealt with illegal immigration and now we are the poorest of the poor.. Am I right to assume that by saying "my people" that you are speaking as an indigenous person?
You go girl!!!
The UofA Rocks
Good for Lorraine! With her deep roots here, that slot is a terrific fit for her. I hope she makes it shine.
There are several hundred million dollars of new military aircraft sitting at the local bone yard. They were purchased by the USAF at the direction of Congress. USAF had no use for them so, hello Arizona. There are apx 450 million dollars of aircraft sitting in Kabul never used, the US Gov could balance the budget just on military waste alone.
"potential citizens in our districts go through the anguish of deportation when legalization could be just around the corner for them."
Which is one reason we should stop passing decadal amnesties that just inspire another wave of "potential citizens" to enter the country illegall expecting that it will all work out in the next amnesty.
