Being from Newport Rhode Island, we consider ourselves connoisseurs in anything clam, lobster, chourico (Portuguese sausage), or basically seafood related. We look forward to the opening of Jackson Tavern .

Dave is rocketing to the top quickly. His dishes are impressive & the plating always impressive. Can't wait to visit Ermanos and taste whatever he cooks up! Yum!

Congrats on Ermanos, Dave! I'll be dropping by soon to taste the culmination of all of those years of hard work.

"Imagine tasting a peach from the local grocer or food stand and it tastes as if you grew it from your own tree."

Gee, that's just what I thought the first time I went to the farmer's market (Jesse Owens in my case).

Exactly right with the gluten thing, wheat, cereals and farinacious(sp) crops have been the staff of life forever. Of course if you have celiac disease you need to eat that way, otherwise it's just another fad. It will go away like cupcakes and eventually the $15-$20 a meal food trucks too. Just a fad.

4th Ave Deli is a favorite of mine. Shark And his crew take a lot of pride in the quality and presentation of their food.
