Re: “ICE Responds to Abuse of Transgender Detainee Allegations

Why should being transgender give you the right to avoid legal penalties? She would have the same issue in a regular prison. So would any one really.

Re: “ICE Responds to Abuse of Transgender Detainee Allegations

A two time criminal offender, and the 'person' wants special treatment from the Americans whose laws that person is violating?

Re: “ICE Responds to Abuse of Transgender Detainee Allegations

" Posters displayed in all ICE detention facilities direct detainees how to initiate a formal complaint."

Step 1. Be seen reporting incident to authority

Step 2. Be returned to cell to receive extra-special, super-duper ass whipping

Step 3. Be found, dead, 14 hours later.

Re: “Good and Grown-Up

I'm a newbie buying & smoking again. Again means I bought many years ago illegally so to step into a store that sells and I buy legally is pretty fantastic!!

The dispensary is very large, ample parking and private. After being buzzed in, I open the door to a large waiting area. I show my DL & ID card to the receptionist. Then I'm directed to a door. The room is large with a counter that reaches one end to the other. Clean, very friendly helpful staff. I ask a lot of questions & I'm impressed with the answers & kindness I receivexčśâ

Highly recommend and will be back again, again.

Re: “AZ Dispensaries Sell More Medical Pot As Fewer People Are Able to Grow Their Own

EVERYONE should be allowed to grow their own marijuana, and it should be legal to use and share with your friends, etc. for whatever reason you choose.

The moment that happens is the same moment when we can stop gouging MMJ patients with ridiculous prices and punitive fees, and at the same time dramatically undercut the international marijuana trade (production is Mexico is already down after just a few states legalizing) and begin to minimize the incredibly destructive power of the cartels.

As long as prices are kept artificially high--whether it's by the ridiculous drug war or by greedy, meddling state agencies and monopolistic dispensaries, doesn't matter--then bad behavior will accompany the rush to cash in on the artificially inflated multi-billion-dollar market, while medical patients and harmless recreational users continue to suffer the consequences.

LEGALIZE. It's the only sane and fair solution.

Also how Laura says she doesn't do Yoga, these things are happening but in different timeline than Laura and Mike are in; but happen in other characters time lines.

Re: “TUSD's Sanchez Responds to Ducey's Budget

All this crap about "cutting administration" and "classrooms first" put out by the Gov. is simply a red herring intended to distract from the real issue at hand......the legislature has stolen money from our schools disenfranchising our children and put this to other use. How come there is money to give to the private prison industry but none for our kids?

Re: “TUSD's Sanchez Responds to Ducey's Budget

And once again that comes as no surprise. It's educrats feathering their own nests, while supporting the Dems goal of taxing the upper wage earners. Just not them.

The administrators received a far greater raise than did the teachers.

Re: “TUSD's Sanchez Responds to Ducey's Budget

H.T. Sanchez, the documented liar, claims that "Arizona doesn't value education."

Mr. Sanchez, you don't value our country, you don't value American citizenship. Mr. Sanchez, you only value transforming TUSD into the largest radical chicano indoctrination center in the country, filling the seats with illegals, thousands that the liberals are recruiting into our country at the risk of their lives and rape of 70% of the girls and women that cross to assure an adequate supply of toilet cleaners for the Grijalva's.

Don't worry H.T., you'll still be getting that extra fat six figure salary plus.

Re: “The Never-Ending Scrutiny

TXjesse: Your abject ignorance of history and xenophobia are palpable. And truly sad to behold. The history that was taught in TUSD Mexican American Studies classes and is now taught in Ethnic Studies classes IS American history, from a Hispanic perspective. And the Texas revolution was fought by Anglos who entered Texas (both legally and illegally) AND Tejanos who lived in Texas long before the Anglos arrived. If you knew about Arizona history, you would know that several members of the Esparza family - some of who were at the Alamo (look up Gregorio Esparza, Goober) when it fell - relocated from San Antonio to Tucson in the 1850s and remained closely tied to William S. Oury, Tucson rancher, Pima County sheriff and community leader, who was ALSO at the Alamo during the siege and who was ordered out of the Alamo as a courier to seek help on Feb. 29, 1836. Perhaps you should read REAL history, not the sanitized bullshit mythology that impedes a real understanding of what went on in the southwest. If you did, you would be aware that Hispanics, who welcomed Anglos and fought with them against the Mexican central government, were treated as second class citizens by those Anglos after Texas became independent, You would learn how Hispanics were subjected to segregation and treated with contempt for many years after Texas achieved statehood. You would learn how a WWII Hispanic Medal of Honor winner was refused service in a Texas restaurant because he was a "Mexican" and how a Hispanic soldier killed in the Philippines during WWII was denied a funeral in Texas after the war because he wasn't white. And your pathetic ignorance of our neighbors to the south is just as obvious. If you think that Americans don't flood Mexico, you have never been to Rocky Point during spring break. Nor have you seen the thousands of gringos vacationing at Rocky Point, Cholla Bay, Guaymas and San Carlos. Nor have you seen the American expatriate colonies in cities all over Mexico. It is also obvious that you have not grown past referring to Americans of Hispanic descent as "Mexicans." All in all, your comments consign you to the less than illustrious pantheon of ignorant-ass Gooberdom.
