It's June now. Will the online edition of "Mailbag" ever be updated again?
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

So, Rep. Barber, when does the "Affordable" part of the ACA kick in, much less the quality? You would do well to work for a single payer plan similar to what every other industrialized nation has implemented to date, not force your constituents to pay exorbitant monthly fees for substandard care to corporate thugs.
I was taken back by Jan Brewer bragging about bringing Apple into the Phoenix area. And creating 700 new jobs. Apple is using the same building that a solar panel company built. Jan and the Republicans chased out the solar manufacturing from AZ, because they are against solar or renewal energy. So the solar panel company would create 2000 jobs, So Az really lost employment, not gained any.
Jan and her Republicans prefer to support coal power plants, polluting the air. They want to mine and drill for oil on Federal lands. Republicans love to destroy instead of renewing or building a better state or nation. I think the voters are finally catching on to the Republicans when they closed down the government.
I like Todd's letter, he should have a column.
Todd, all good points. Harsh as is to be expected for the subject.
You forgot the obscenity of Zoo and Water Park animals. Please include them next time.
Good luck separating people from their "Best Hamburger Contests" complete with brackets and stuffed animals as prizes for the winners.
Thanks for the hororable mention. Good to know you appreciate talant when you see it.
The author forgot to propose selling the meat to Asian countries to reduce the trade debt.
Should have called herself Juanita Swift! ;)
Sorry everyone. Somehow the author's name got cut off when we posted the letter online. It's now fixed.
Surely you jest!
Is this an unattributed letter or article? Very weird it doesn't have the author's name.
It sounds like a friggin' joke, and that's why the author didn't have the cojones (literally OR figuratively) to sign his or her name.
This proposal is fiscally irresponsible in that financial projections ignore the costs of slaughter, processing, marketing and distribution.
OK, before any of you go off on this, let me say it is a great article (the author of which remains anonymous), but should have been saved until April. The first to be exact.
On another note, how come this is the only Mailbag that has been available to read online for a whole month?
Pam, American Apparel sexualizes men too. You should see some of their menswear ads. They just don't have taste.
That was a good one Helen.
Dan, everything that Pam said plus could you move the saucy ads to the online addition on my computer where the "use" of the Curves and AA ads are typically enjoyed?
Let's keep it that way.
Easy there Pam, it's the only sex I get.
