No one ever said anything about "A bunch of asians speaking chinese" [sic]. The article was talking about the 'very authentic appearing clientele'. This leaves open the possibility that the clientele could have appeared to be 'authentic' but may not have actually been 'authentic.' The speculation is hanging over this review. It's a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a "Chinese Beef Burrito" and I want to know more.
I have ordered from there numerous times, the last time (10/1/2014) they provided no salsa, no silverware, no chips, the food was cold, and had very little taste. The last time the food was not good, no flavor, no chips included. We would not order from there again. Poor quality!!!!
Soooo the reviewer should have said "A bunch of asians speaking chinese"? Or they should have went up to them like the INS or gestapo and asked for their papers to validate their authenticity? Cause that would not be racist at all!
Great review until I saw "The very authentic appearing clientele ..." Typical lazy Tucson journalism, not verifying whether the clientele that frequents this establishment was in fact 'authentic'. Instead they just leave us with speculation from the writer that they probably were but we don't know for sure. Since this is Tucson we probably won't see any follow up on this article either.
Well I also have a vegan palate and anytime I have gone to taco urbano they make me veggie tacos that have bell pepper onion tomato and potato on a cripy corn tortilla they are ao delicious♥♥♥♥
As good now as 30+ years ago when I first lived here. Saw Brian Bromberg perform here before he went to L.A. And got rich and famous!
Terrible place. I am a tucson native and love the new downtown. But this place is a TERRIBLE addition.
No mistake that this place is on the ground floor of student housing. I will avoid it like Ebola.

What an awful addition to our revitalized downtown. The developer and the owner should be put in stockades so we can throw milkshakes and stale pretzels at them. I don't see this place lasting. With any luck the replacement can tear down those obnoxious phallic signs/tvs.
remember that place on 4th Ave that sold alcoholic slushee type drinks? that place was fun. "Wasted with Brain Freeze" was what i called it.

Ugh. Sounds wretched. It's a shame our downtown got stuck with such a place. What's in Scottsdale should stay in Scottsdale.
Got to try their Carne Seca. The original Panchos (1960s) was hard to beat.
It's been a long time since I last ate at La Indita. After reading this reviewer's complementary review it won't be long before I try it again. Well prepared guacamole, flan and chili rellenos aren't too common, despite the abundance of Mexican restaurants in Tucson.
Long Live La Indita! It was one of my first Tucson restaurants, and every restaurant following is compared to the amazing food La Indita prepares. If you've not experienced this Tucson classic it is time you get moving on it!
La Indita has been a staple for local environmentalists for years and will still be for many years to come!
I called mine nana and one of them only spoke Italian. What can I say?
As far as the lasagna goes, that wasn't lasagna in any place on the planet.
