You make a good point, that it might be interesting, but truth be told, that whole "Crazy restaurant owner, goes nuts, does fake reviews on Yelp and Reddit", has kind of been played out since the Amy's debacle.

No, CJ, you didn't report on a controvery over a restaurant that claims they have good food, but reviewers disagree, yet good reviews appear to be written by the owner who has anger management issues and threatens to physically harm another reviewer whose only crime, as near as I could determine, was encouraging said owner to address some concerns with his staff.

Why aren't you covering the clusterfuck that La Mia Toscana has become? The owner threatened people on Yelp, culminating in the site removing the discussion thread. But there are countless fake profiles that have been made praising the restaurant, whereas reliable and long-time reviewers have given the restaurant low marks for crap food, rude service and overall a piss-poor value for the money. Way to fall down on the job, Morgan/Hamm/Connelly/etc.

I have been there several times and agree completely with the review. The food is excellent and the service helpful. I think it's time for a return visit.
Why don't they just go back to the way it was in the '60's & '70's? And I know how hard it is to get good help in the biz.
I haven't visited this restaurant yet and I think comment posts can be helpful in deciding where to eat but they shouldn't be the only reason you don't visit. Everyone has an opinion and we all have bad days. Being out of product and having your servers ignorant to the products you do have can make it a lousy visit, no doubt. But give them a chance to get their feet wet and hopefully things will turn around.
As one of the owners of Saguaro Corners I wanted to share some thoughts. First I will say that Dan's experience on Sunday was a bit of a trend at the end of July, beginning of August. Since then we have let go of the general manager (the grunter) and have revamped the kitchen to enhance the food quality. We will continue to tweak food, service and atmosphere since we have been open less than five months. Our ultimate goal is to create a special and wonderful music venue on the Eastside. Rest assured we are a tireless group of people that believe great food, fun music, consistent service and a special atmosphere is needed on the far eastside. So please don't give up on us because of a poor Sunday for Dan. In fact our goal is to exceed your expectations and add a unique venue/restaurant on the eastside. We look forward to Dan's third visit. Thanks for listening.
