Way to fall down on the job, because we didn't report on some shenanigans on Yelp?
This just in: People are trolling on YouTube! Better?
Wow, Rita. Arrogant much? Maybe Somber doesn't get to read the Weekly much. Or maybe that sort of snarky shit you pull is a turn-off.
Why get involved? Yelp is the most unreliable source of information, anyway.
I read all the stuff and found both sides to be ridiculous. It would be like repeating gossip.
PS if you'd been paying attention you would know Morgan is no longer with the paper
Why aren't you covering the clusterfuck that La Mia Toscana has become? The owner threatened people on Yelp, culminating in the site removing the discussion thread. But there are countless fake profiles that have been made praising the restaurant, whereas reliable and long-time reviewers have given the restaurant low marks for crap food, rude service and overall a piss-poor value for the money. Way to fall down on the job, Morgan/Hamm/Connelly/etc.
And now we know why...
Umi Star is closed. Ostensibly for a kitchen remodel. For a few weeks.
rconnelly Mind your own business. My post had nothing to do with you though I have noticed that many of your posts are quite mean spirited. I guess my suggestion that street car money be used to help struggling business's is something you find distasteful. Have no idea what you are talking about in mentioning food trucks. Can't read?
rconnelly so you do not like my suggestion that the politicians do the right thing in helping area restaurants! Thats your problem, mind your own business!
you turned this into a diatribe about downtown and the street car? Do us a favor - stay away from downtown.
Second, Google Tucson Food Trucks and you can find where the trucks are most of the time.
In looking at Yelp, its clear that they were probably referring to the Truck
being closed, not the "brick and mortar" location!
Thanks Burnie. I drove around the downtown area Saturday morning and did not spot any location for these people. Hopefully, they are still open as I did like their burgers,. Cannot believe the convoluted mess the idiots running this city have created downtown. Its no wonder businesses have closed and God forbid the dysfunctional politicians would do something that makes sense by enforcing the delay penalties with the streetcar manufacturer and using some of that money to help out the merchants. By the way, just received email from Eat a Burger that yes, they are open.
Eat-A-Burger. Not sure if they are still open or not. Yelp says its closed, but their phone number is still in service.
There was a hamburger trailer parked downtown along pennington
then the owners opened a fixed location nearby. Can't recall their name
and are they still open?
Delectables is now opening for breakfast 7:30am Mon - Fri and 9am on Sat and Sunday.
Thanks for the tip about the new La Mia Toscana.
Sad, but true statement, Rita.
Rosa's ain't what it used to be....
