Attended the recent performance in Philly, as I have the previous two. Tucson, you are in for an overwhelming treat.

Re: “Showing Us

Wonderful article. To clarify, the album was all tracked and mixed on analog tape except for a tiny bit of guitar overdubs right at the end, just to make choruses pop louder.

Re: “Live

Abby, I'll TL;DR this for you - As some get older and different facets of life burgeon, they tend to trivialize or de-gravitate the things that pushed and defined us when we were younger. They think that what we experienced has perished along with our youth. There are yet others of us who don't have the same experience, and stay in a somewhat lonely place that most others leave. When we hear the former, we feel as though we should have maybe stayed on that train. Then you see some kids at a show down on 4th and you remember why you didn't.

I guess you get it or you don't. Enjoy the voice later.

Re: “Live

The weird thing isn't that you gave BMDB a bad review, it's that you gave the other bands good reviews. The other bands that played that night were just awful. It was really strange that people were so into them. The author of this article wasn't honest, he should have said that BMDB were unoriginal and the local bands all sounded like a group of kindergarteners were getting their stomachs pulled out of their mouths.

Re: “Live

I just moved from Denver, where no one knows of this band, so I can vouch for their proclaimed modesty. Thanks for all the great work you do, Weekly staff.
