...I'm not sure why Tucson native and current Devo drummer Jeff Friedl rarely if ever gets mentioned in the local music media. He moved to California years ago and eventually worked/works with A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide, The Beta Machine, Devo, Carina Round, Filter and Puscifer.
I like the "Wayback Machine" reference, but as a bit of an aficionado of Peabody's Improbable History from the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, I'd like to point out the correct spelling is "WABAC", though it was pronounced as spelled in the article. I believe it was a play on UNIVAC and other hi-tech names from back in the day.
