A great article--worthy of your talents. Don't let them make you do the stupid stuff any more!
If anyone thinks Tucson was ever in the mix for the Tesla plant they need their head examined. We can't even keep our streets repaired. they used us (like grand Canyon College) to get a better deal with Reno. Just think what the neighborhoods and the Council members would demand if they were to really come here.
We deserve what our politicians have given us, nothing. All they care about is their office.
Tucson limits the size of cultivation sites and Phoenix doesn't? What's wrong with this picture? We need larger cultivation sites in Tucson to lower prices for Tucson patients and to provide jobs to Tucson citizens.
You win some and you lose some.
While it would be great for Tucson if Tesla built their 'gigafactory' here, I wouldn't blame them for not wanting anything to do with Arizona.
The state legislature and Governor have gone out of their way to make sure Arizona has one of the least-educated work forces in the country, has the least-maintained road infrastructures on the continent, and continues to 'balance' the state budget by sweeping any and all funds due to counties and municipalities and leaving said entities to fend as best they can.
henry must still be at Comicon
Nah! Gimme a good old-fashioned gas guzzler forever! Electric cars are about as functional for most people as a horse - and takes so much more of your "hay" for even less use!
Yep! LOVE Spongebob and its thinly-veiled adult humor! Kids love him mucho as well!
Get a clue, TW... these aren't the type of stories which will endear a media outlet to many - except to low-functioning, lowlife riff-raff! Porn shouldn't be your goal. You are not supposed to be a gutter-tabloid. Naturally I am weirded out, underwhelmed and totally unimpressed. Gosh...
Huppenthal thinks that throwing around the phrase "longitudinal studies" makes what ever he is saying "scholarly."
Actually, Spongebob lives in a pineapple under the sea. Spongebob to me is of the same ilk as Bullwinkle and Rocky and some other "kids" cartoons with the double layered humor and message, one on the kids' level and another for the adults.
Timmothy: Feel free to send us some info about your band. Did you guys get profiled in Spin?
When are they going to give you some real work at the Tucson Weekly. These stories are about the same level as the Enquirer.
I hope this well runs dry soon.
The RightWing-Extremist, are always the victims. If the A__holes don't want to be criticized for their comments, maybe, they should think long and hard about throwing out abrasive vitriol. Micky Smythe
oh and I forgot to say that her front end is freaking good too ...
welll I just Got to say that when I saw the first picture was dreaming about the third one... thanx Mr. Barajas.. Good Job!!!.
Bennett says:..."if we could grow at 6 percent or 8 percent a year over six or eight years, the almost $8.5 or $9 billion that's coming into the general fund turns into $13 billion, $14 billion, $15 billion." I ask when was the last time our state's economy grew at 6 to 8 percent annually for 6 to 8 years? Or any other state's, or the nation's? Just asking. Also asking where Mr. Bennett gets his economic views? It wouldn't be Timothy Leary?
Where can we see the live stream?
Yet another Tucson band for the Weekly to get all wet about. They play nowhere in front of nobody, very few people in Tucson have ever heard of them or heard them play.
But the weekly says they are the next big thing. Sure.
Just wait a few months and the weekly will anoint yet another gonowhere local band.
