I see you Devon, and i am so not surorised! Congratulations, you rock!
You are correct. Caruso's is awful. But so is Tucson. So there you go. A sweltering, crime infested, pothole ridden, bleeding welfare armpit.
Mariscos Chihuahua at number 2. Oh you poor Tucsonians.
Bangkok Cafe? Are you kidding? Greasy crap and poor service. When are we moving from the hell hole city?
These places, unfortunately, not good at all. In fact, there's no such thing as good ANYTHING in Tucson.
Nice reader pick. Casbah Tea House is a famous tea house where various tea they offer for the visitors. Some of them are contain medicinal benefits.
The http://molinachai.nl/ is a good quality natural tea that I like always.
India Oven is the best Indian food in Tucson by far. It is not stylized Indian food, but real home-style. The atmosphere is cozy and the owner warmly greets everyone as they enter. It is a gem in the heart of the city.
Fronimo's has a very good (for Tucson) VEGAN Falafel sandwich.
I highly recommend it.
(sub Hummus for the Tahini for lower fat)
(request Veggies chopped for greater eating manageability)
Delicious, filling and a relatively good value.
Served by a courteous and efficient staff.
Thank you George & Tracy.
To the contrary, this place has excellent food, and the prices are reasonable. I don't know what her problem is, but I've been there several times and was never disappointed.
Carusos is terrible, i mean awful.
^ I second that. Kazoku is delicious.
That may be but you have to try Kozoku on Speedway near Columbus. Lunch specials are unbelievable. I think it it used to be Three Sisters.
Blue Willow?? Where did this come from?
I vote for Govinda's.
Best breakfasts are at the Eclectic Café. Blue Willow is slow service and mediocre. Never gotten a great meal there.
Always slow service and mediocre food. No where near Tucson, best breakfasts or vege cuisine. I have tried this place several times over 4 decades and it never fails to disappoint. Best breakfasts are at the Eclectic Café.
And La Cocina now has two bars: the Cantina and the Dusty Monk Pub.
All: Feel free to vote for something else next year. Not sure what to tell you, otherwise.
urban fresh has SUCH better choices than any of the vegan options at blue willow. that sweet potato sandwich is awful.
