This show is full of fun and so entertaining! A must see for kids of all ages. The music system is of high quality. Young and old gathered to see the spectacular show at the Arizona Centennial Celebration at Best Fest, Phoenix. We enjoyed the Arizona themed performance and music from afar but could see an occasional elaborate puppet as we manned our booth. Highly energetic and loads of fun to watch.
Went there this past weekend and was very dissapointed! They are extremely $$$, the bee's were horrible, and there were NO apples to pick in the orchards. That was one of the main reasons we drove their. They really should have it on there website. And on top of all this, I posted a somewhat negative comment on there fb wall yesterday and today and they deleted them both!!! They have also deleted some other negative posts as well. They are very sneeky and deceptive people and I will NEVER go there again!! Shame on them!
The Puppet Master extraordinaire, has been a friend of mine for over 2 decades, and is such an amazing human being. Believe me when I say, this show is one that you don't want to miss!
to funny.
wtf? we went there with our child and it was totally inappropriate. There were no childrens activities or anything child-like what-so-ever. matter of fact, the staff and the other customers glared at us like we were crazy for even thinking that it was a good place for a child to go. the author is nuts!
Really has always boggled my mind that year after year the pick and the top three fail to even mention what is far and away the best toy store in Tucson, which is of course Kid's Center. Far more selection than Tiggy Winkles, and selling far more as well, with a knowledgable and helpful staff that includes people who actually have had kids. It is also the best children's book store, and the staff can help you combine books and toys for a great gift. Of the Tucson toy stores it is also the only one to be awarded the Wells Fargo Copper Cactus Award for community service for a business its size. Prices are lower than either Yikes! or Tiggy Winkles for the same products, there is at least three times the stock to choose from and it is all the best quality available, and the staff go as far as driving to your house to help assemble items. If you guys honestly think Yikes or Toys R or Tiggys are the best or have been the best in Tucson, you do not know jack about Tucson.
Well written synopsis of why Mrs. Tiggy Winkle's is the best toy store in all of (at least) Tucson. They love kids, play, imagination, and they take all of that so seriously it is hard not to want to visit everyday. It is during our current economic hard times that its important that we don't allow personal inconvenience to lead way for community loss; support our local businesses, especially the ones we love as dearly as Mrs. Tiggy Winkles! They support us with all their free events and community projects (like the super sweet film festival) I cannot believe their youthful dedication to the betterment of our families and community doesn't receive more praise. Thanks for giving credit where credits due TW!
Re: “Best Way to Get Your Kids to Listen”
REALLY?! What should be part of a child's role in family & household - which apparently parents can't/won't teach/enforce - is now a HUGE AX-WIELDING THREAT to pick up dirty socks?! At what AGE is this intimidation & nightmare (& day-scare) inducing "Best Way to Get Your Kids to Listen" tactic NOT emotional-abuse? TEACH BY EXAMPLE & EXPLAINING YOUR EXPECTATIONS - then CONSITANTLY FOLLOW THRU with pre-warned & APPROPRIATE CONSEQUENCES! Kids WILL learn to comply - mostly - as well as aquiring SKILLS they'll use lifelong (being social, good work ethics, strong sense of family & other responsibilities, and the stability created thru patience & support.
