loved african thunder when I worked at the n campbell store..........would love to get a pound of it
Nicos sucks, the food always looks good but i aways regret it afterwards. Viva burrito is better.
Went to the hideout to check it out. There was a news program on the tv regarding the Paula Dean scandal. Hubby is African American. The couple next to us started speaking very loudly... Whats wrong with that and started repeating the N word of course directed at us. Obviously we left. If these ignorant people dont like other races or cultures I wonder why they were sitting in a bar owned by a gentlemen who is hispanic. Sorry won't be back if this type of thing is tolerated.
Monkey Burger has the best burgers in town & the staff rock. Check it out.
FATDOGS is the best Sonoran hotdogs come on down and try one @ Tucson mall food court
Keva Juice is now Fruit Shack and is independantly owned, not a franchise. I know that they use real fruit in their smoothies and in my opinion have the best quality product in Tucson. They aslo have natural wheat grass shots for less than $2.
This is not a really a fish fry, more like fish n'chips and it is sort of a dive BUT the food is good and the price is right. My choice for the best fish fry in Tucson is The Irish Pub on Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway. Obviously, it is also a bar but the fish fry is great. The problem is timing... you have to get there early (before 5pm) on a Friday or you could have a wait for a table. That should say something about the food.
Nico's is by far the worst "mexican" food I've ever eaten. My family and I got extremely sick here. The beef they served us was rotten and what happened when I complained??? No refund, they just offered us credit for more nasty food! I will never ever go back. Nasty. Best Burrito? More like best place to get food posoining.
Burnie Mak you are aware that the dos x guy is not Mexican, which makes it ironic that you criticize the people voting when you have a picture of a fake acting Mexican that is the epitamy of fat corporate greed.
"I can't eat your pizza because I disagree with your politics." Get some perspective, asshat.
I agree that the food is pretty bland. I was hugely dissappointed after reading reviews about Blue Willow. I do like the setting and the gift shop, but do not go here for food, you will most likely be disappointed. I give the Blue Willow 1 star.
Nope, Best Sonoran dogs are on 4th weekend nights across from mr.Heads bar!!! Hands down!!!
Best burgers in town are by far at Kenney D's....and if you miss it more for me!!! Half pound Bacon-Swiss is da bomb!! Dont listen to me , try it for yourself..you wont be sorry......food chains are just that!! Kenneys is the best!
Nicos and Chipotle?
LOL @ the voters for this thing. I vote every year and it never ceases to amaze me that fat corporate american teet suckers still end up dominating the voting for an independent rag.
What a disgrace
I f-n hate when chains make these lists
SUPPORT LOCAL PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Not to mention you get better quality and service
Their politics are bad. They support sb1070. Really Brooklyn's? On 4th Ave with this clientele and you support rightwing republican garbage?!?!? It's too bad, because your pizzas are good, and I miss them, but I can't support right wing businesses
Brooklyn Pizza is a dump, noisy, and hot. That said, I think its the best pizza I have tasted in Tucson. Tried Magpies last week. No big deal.
July 29th 2011...
Their is No other way to say this, but this place is a Dump!
I should No better that when you pull up on a Friday night and theirs about
four Harleys in the parking lot, and maybe six other vehicles total, your not going to get the 'Best Fish Fry' in Tucson. Not only did they NOT have
a fish fry, but their was No sign of food anywhere. When we asked about it,
the response was, the owners not here, but If he 'gets back' he might see
if they even have any! Don't waste your time even the Beer sucked!
try any of the two TD's night clubs if you want a monster burger at a great price.
