I have to disagree. I would considered Sacred art as one of the top tattoo shops in Tucson. The art is magnificent, the detail and color is epic. I don't think anywhere compares to sacred art! Has some of the best artist in town. So go check um out and see what you think for ur self!

heres the the real deal about tucson tattoo shops and artists that work at them...most tattoo shops in town employ tattooers who are not artists who have quit their construction jobs or whatever...these people see the good money in the business and thats all..they have no real art background.. most tattooers in general dont draw or paint in or outside "work" without that their art is below par...So they rely on the flash that their employers have on the walls since most people dont know what a good tattoo is and that you dont have to get something on the walls ...shops take advantage of this tattoo chains like enchanted dragon johnny rays majestic fastlane etc. are notorious for hiring these types of people to be production artist to crank out bullsh*t tattoos for money thats whoring out the business and those artists are tattoo whores and the shops and owners are the pimps...now you got left are technically good tattooers in town but rely on copying pictures and google images and calling it custom or one of a kind because they added a texture or some negative design to it..its not to be respected... chances are if its from google 1000 people have tattooed it multiple times over...theres two types of tattooists "tattooers" and "tattoo artists" tattooers are the google and flash reliant people who deserve no respect from the public or industry..now, tattoo artists are very rare in this industry rely on their own drawing skill rather then copy a photo a true tatt artist dont use flash and if they use google its just for ideas to "draw from" not "trace" and add sh*t to it and and call it one of a kind...which is in my book is bullshitting themselves and the general public...another note because someone is a shop owner does not mean they are good...the reason of this post is respect and credit should go where it is deserved...you could technically be the best tattooer but your still a tattooer...so dont be fooled by tattooers find yourself a tattoo artist!!! KNOW AND LEARN THE DIFFERENCE

My first tattoo was done at one of the Enchanted Dragon locations and i had looked at the artist's book and his work was beautiful. I later got my tattoo from the same guy but my tattoo does not look like what i wanted. I would never sent a friend to Enchanted Dragon to get a tattoo..at least the location i went to. I feel it doesn't matter if you look at portfolios or not because the work could be great but that doesn't mean anything for your own tattoo. I agree that the relationship between artist and customer need improvment. Since my tattoo I have been looking for a better place.

Doesn't matter at all, Jimmy, me lad, whether you like or abhor Jon Justice. It's the insult of the matter and referring to Tea Partiers as "tea-baggers" is, indeed, an insult. Anyone not aware of this might just google it. And Jimmy, I was friggin' born here. I know Tucson. And we usually don't insult folks we don't even know. What do you have to say for yourself?

Been going to Jaybees for almost 20 years. Why? Superior knowledge and servcie, naturally. I heartily recommend it to anyone reading. These folks treat you right! And, no, I'm not family, just a very satisfied and long-term customer.

Don't forget that the Rollings family, owners of Cushing Street Bar and a saviors of a good chunk of barrio property, enabled the Festival to happen. They are also fighting like crazy to resolve the matter of leaking water mains, which have done massive damage to the historic structures...even though the City of Tucson won't admit it. Save the barrio! Call your city council member and ask them if they've reviewed the data or just relied on staff reports.

I brought a cat there on a late afternoon since my vet was not in and they charge almost 3000.00 and on mon told me I woud need to spend another min 3000.00 ... there was no one who really knew what they were gdoing and they told me to put her tosleep..kill her .. I got her out of there to my vet and in two days she was fine ... she was just being emotional since I had left her for the week before alone in the house for five days. all she need was attention and to eat... I dont call that a great vet.. I am sure they have some really good vet there but I sure didn't get one. He could not of care less and just keep there charges going.. thank good I said I would not deal with him ... and talked to another vet and got her out where she got one on one attention for a day or two and than started eating... they were they felt that they were the best in town and could get away with anything. I delt with the owner wife I think ...one of the dr own it...yes I am sure there are good vets there .. if that who you get when you walk in ... I didnt'..

I have to disagree my first tattoo after I moved to Tucson was at Enchanted Dragon and I was very disappointed. The multiple location shop was less than professional and the artist / client relationship needed polishing. I got a sub-par tattoo from an " experienced" artist.
I've since been going to Adrenaline for 6 new tattoos and I couldn't speak higher of the artists, the customer service is fantastic. They have a very sterile environment and good vibe throughout the process. Whether it's flash art you want or a custom tattoo, Adrenaline is reasonably priced and doesn't disappoint !!

Dark Star has been around since the 70s and remains the best place for leather products in Tucson as far as we know. We shop here about once a year or so and have been very happy with the service and leather goods. Classy location too.

We are looking forward to the day satellite music stations become the norm and take over the airwaves. Stations like FM 92.1, and most others, air too many commercials and they play the same cuts over and over and over again. And DJs. They are so obnoxious.

Word of advice. Adult shops like Fascinations mark up their products like you won't believe- four and five hundred percent markups are common. You would be wise to shop on a site like Amazon for the same stuff. Case in point. My wife bought a real nice butt plug for about half the price Fascinations wanted for the same one. Same goes for personal vibrators. Big savings online. Condoms? Eight bucks at the bookstore, same brand for five bucks at Wal Mart.
