If your ears are open, you will hear honesty from me
My interpretation of "Here We Go": https://sites.google.com/site/videohereweg…
i have heard the album and i am very surprised how well balanced it is. very solid for a freshman effort! should be a great show as well. keep up on all tucson hip hop at www.wearebugginout.com
What's a "spare beat"?
Heard these guys in LA and also Santa Barbara, and fell in love.
Pristine harmonies, truly inspired playing across the board, and songs that break the mold creatively.
And well, lets call it, all those handsome Ronstadts.
Come back to So Cal, RG!!!
This is absolutely my favorite band in the world. Truly. They are Tucson; they feel like home.
I totally agree. Namoli's live offerings often (In my opinion.) exceed the same track as laid down in the studio. I've only seen a few performers who can do a song live without losing the "feel" of the tune. Namoli reloads the emotion on each live performance making her unique and giving the audience a true, "Live" experience.
Does anyone know that there is another Cadillac Steakhouse? You can actually get steaks at this one, at milepost 104, on route 79 (Pinal Pioneer Parkway), between Oracle Junction and Florence. I've only eaten there once, and it was a pretty good meal.
His album "Dead" from 2008 is arguably as good and even less produced. I really love this ST album and hope Tucsonan's get a hold of a copy and give it a listen. The man's a helluva rocker.
so dope! i have had the pleasure of listening to this album for the past month. it does and will not disappoint. looking forward to the release show on sat. check out www.wearebugginout.com to stay up on all local hip hop.
I've never thought of this band in retirement. Bob's been cranking out the tunes on such a prolific level, that it hurts, every time I hear there's something new out, since I usually end up buying it.
I listened to a recent show in Central Park.. I stayed outside in the trees, since it was like a 100 degrees out... it usually gets too hot and muggy inside, especially with all the hipster kids..
I was amazed how dead on the band was.. and most of the set was new music.. It just popped.. Even in the 100 degree heat, there wasn't a sluggish slip... Some really great tunes. It amazes me how they're able to rock the way they do.
Jason and The Brawlers need to play Phoenix again. Last show here was equal parts WWE, porn shoot and mugging. Do not get in the van.
Got reverb ? Got way too much reverb.
Waste of time.
This guy knows nothing about texas blues, and the vocals are not that good.
These guys are very talented. May you listen to the Collin Shook Trio soon!
yeah, well being a European, leaving in Australia, music and travel lover myself, what was the 1st thing I did after listening that gorgeous album ? I googled Tucson !! and guess what ?? on my travel list ;-))
Andrew Bird fans should check out these pictures of him working on Break It Yourself at Metrosonic Recording Studio in Brooklyn - http://www.metrosonic.net/blog/?p=1068
That is by far the hottest singing man in the world
