Is this paid advertising? Sure reads like it.
With the human track record of overindulgence, I hope these attractive, appealing, yummy treats are very moderately dosed so that eating a few won't cause more unpleasant Maureen Dowd overdose experiences.
This is very nice to have this option I know smoking can have risks and a social stigma. I was at the Apothecary and they showed me the Hot Sauce/ However I was looking for a particular strain I guess infused edibles are not really strain specific or phenol directed. Perhaps it might be the manufactured products are the edible, honey stick, Gummy Bears, Soda, Cookies, strain specific? When I have gone this has not been the case. I see the market driven how much THC just read above, I look for CBD or CBN .
Well in my 60 years on earth have shown me one thing it is not up to somebody else it is up to me. I have been on the outside I tried to come inside out of the heat and cold only to be told there is no room for you here come back we might have something later. I know where comfort is thanks.
The Downtown Dispensary offers zero discounts to students. Zero discounts on game-days. There is no point or reward system to enroll in.
Perhaps the parents that have suffered for years watching their children become debilitated by epileptic seizures or cancer have reached out to a medical professional already? And perhaps offering them a solution is reason enough to stick around and tolerate the stigma of just trying to get people "high"?
The current list of qualifying MEDICAL conditions in the state of AZ is as follows:

Cachexia or wasting syndrome;

Seizures, including those characteristic of epilepsy;
Severe or persistent muscle spasms, including those characteristic of multiple sclerosis
Well thanks for the commercial Chris. Nice having unpaid distribution of a "HMMM" non-profit. I have been to the Downtown Dispensary it is not any different in my opinion than the others. I left purchasing the tincture of CBD as the other stock was purely in my opinion just high flavored THC. I believe situated so close to he college crowd it is their market. I remember free doctor recommendations on Saturdays, bonus points, specials on game day. I just don't have the time or the desire to join a group that has me running across town for a gram special or 1/8. For some MMJ is a confirmation of allegiance with a self defined social group. The dispensaries market and cater to these groups have patients jotting all over town hoping to get a free high if they give a favorable review on rating sites. the average price for MMJ in 4 different states that I frequent is half that of what is being priced gouged here in Tucson. The MMJ patient is going under the bus, go to a medical professional get a support group dispensaries are not it.
Hello I'm Reginald Shaun by name, I'm giving a testimony about Dr. Oraede the great Herbalist, he has the cure to all manner of diseases, he cured my HIV disease, though I went through different website I saw different testimonies about different spell casters and herbalist, I was like: "Many people have the HIV cure why are people still suffering from it?" I though of it, then I contact Dr. Oraede via email, I didn't believe him that much, I just wanted to give him a try, he replied my mail and Needed some Information about me, then I sent them to him, he asked me to pay 200USD for the preparation of the cure, though I didn't believe him, I just gave him a try, 200USD is not that much, I make the money reachable to him and he prepared it (CURE) and sent it to FEDex Online Courier Service for delivery, he gave my details to the Courier Office, they told me that 3-5 days I will receive the package and i took the medicine as prescribed by him and I went for check-up a week after finishing the medicine, I was tested HIV negative, if you are HIV positive do me a favor for you to contact him and I will try my possible best to make sure you get cured, when you contact him, make sure you tell him that I referenced you... What needs to change is AZDHS needs to come into line with costs to enroll this should not be a revenue enhancer and market access limiter. REALISTIC PRICING !
it is good to see this open opinion on MMJ. I see a great paradox here between quality of life and market driven revenue. With the AZ MMJ law passed gave some great protections to the Patient that needs this kind of medication. To legalize it these would be gone the enforcement now would be on home growers and a civil action taken by the government and possible liens and levies against property for growing your own. It seems unfathomable to try and build a business and on a weed. It can and will grow anywhere and does. Over the years I have witnessed urban grows and micro grows that yield fantastic quality. Having worked in the commercial Landscape business and toured many a nursery the Imperial valley can turn out tons a month plenty of water and skilled labor for that. Cannabis is similar to Alfalfa and cotton. In Yuma they get 4 cuttings a year and the enhanced UVB from the latitude grow a better product. So to surmise do you want the police to go from protecting to tax collection? To invest so much to have fantastically skilled commercial grow operations with all facilities in place? To lose the protection given under the law to MMJ patients? To pursue strong market driven stains rather than strains related to MMJ ? One question to you Brad as you have worked in the MMJ business dispensary what training did they give and maintain to the employees on how different strains and pheno affect different medical ailments?
As a note when the federal government changes the classification the Indian reservations when there is no SS tax or state tax low investment cost and great land. Right now it is possible to buy over the internet from state's that recognize other states MMJ patient cards. and the post office in the trouble they are in don't want to police that.
There is a symbiotic relationship between these dispensaries and the MMJ patient this ridiculous claim of compassion care and nonprofit where you can grow the cost of a new Hyundai on 60 days. Dispensaries just don't realize the whole industry is a house of cards they too need the MMJ laws. Student, Veteran, Senior, happy hour, gameday, specials, bonus points, why cant there be honest pricing? The cost to produce is obvious inflate the cost and entice with discounts very discouraging for MMJ patients such as myself and I know hundreds to support these dispensaries. Result less people signing up for it they are killing their own. When asked by other in my support groups if it is worth while to obtain this license and go to dispensaries. I tell them get the license for protection stay with the support group there options to getting it.

I did not renew, $$$, was the reason.
$150 to get a medical mj license for the privilege of paying $350 or more per ounce for something that available on the black market for about $75 an ounce.
I don't know for sure, but I thing a lot of why we are not signing up in droves, is the high cost just to obtain the card. If we come to our sense, we can hop on the bandwagon and make it legal for recreation as it should be, we might be able to save enough to patronize the excellent dispensaries we have at our disposal and will need more people to staff them. How's that for an idea?
Well here we again looking at the prosecution of cannabis users/growers and the business side of it. What is consistently the focus in these opinions is the business of MMJ. Little if at all is the phenol types the medical and the different characters of strains. What has worked for different nerve muscle neurological applications. I hear a lot about revenue tax collected opportunities for starting and young entrepreneurs. The Medical marijuana Law was passed for the medical side. I was hoping but I guess I knew better the medical patient goes under the Dispensary bus. The shills playing Journalist Doctor entrepreneur non profit business .
Pot is already widely available outside of dispensaries. And cheaper. The whole point of legalized drug dealers was to generate a tax from the trade. The potheads who can't smoke themselves silly with their "prescription" allotment currently sell it to others to offset the cost.
Nothing new here.
Tucson limits the size of cultivation sites and Phoenix doesn't? What's wrong with this picture? We need larger cultivation sites in Tucson to lower prices for Tucson patients and to provide jobs to Tucson citizens.
I have noticed increasingly that MMJ in capsule form is available in California, I don't know yet about Colo and Wash but I sure would like to have that option in AZ. Chances? Available? Where? Cost? It certainly would be a great big plus to have this available. Not to mention it wold make easier on the lungs.
I wish any presentation would begin with a brief opening report about the overall safety and lack of harm to Tucson's medical marijuana users. The fears of increased crime, traffic fatalities, teen use, etc. are not happening. Politicians are still treating cannabis, a non-toxic plant, as if it was plutonium.
In the commission presentation to the council Brad stated they had the dispensaries owners in the audience, were their any caregiver network owners in attendance? The caregiver grow too for patients to match strain to ailment. Dispensaries give happy hour discounts, referral freebies, maybe a strain matched to ailment if in stock a switch to the high THC. Long waits little knowledge of patients ailment and treatment needed. A caregiver comes instructs and grows for the patient. The limit on grow size was established in the start for the size care givers could have. By passing this It will put hundreds of caregivers out of work which have not been accounted for in the article. They are growing enough now the patients what this will do is say only the market orientated of high THC forgoing the strain development. The analogy of a Pizza business is just ridiculous. You would have to be stoned to believe that one
There have been delivery service going in Tucson for the last 2 years this is an end run by the Dispensary owners to put caregiver network out of business. Which have been supplying delivers for awhile. Can you list who is on this" HMMM " commission this would enlighten? These people want pure legalization in so the Medical Patient will go under the bus
Funny how there is over 50,000 patients with valid AZ MMJ cards that cost $150 to the AZDHS. There are only 8 dispensaries in Tucson that maybe have 100 total people working for them and the rules are being relaxed for the dispensaries? Where is the ability for the patients to grow their own medicine without having to pay exorbitant prices at these supposed "non-profit" medical marijuana dispensaries.
Please show some common sense City Council Members and lighten up and allow the patients to grow their 12 plants without the fear of TPD sending in the swat teams and attack helicopters on the patients. This is what the law was for to help patients not make the already wealthy dispensary owners even richer.
somebody explain to him the concept of phenotype. one love
