Seems the drug cartels are also safe from criticism. Unless you're trying to get a sister raped, four tires slashed, your windows broken, and your children beheaded for telling them how worthless and small-in-the-pants they are. Even the Virgin of Guadalupe thinks they're losers.
Living on the border... Do you think that the Civil War was a democratic process? It was an act of attrition that freed th e slaves from tyranny. Now, do you see the act of military personnel waging war against unarmed migrants an action in favor freedom?
NO tengo verguenza; oh, well; callate el hocicio!; xenophobics!
Tavo, Keep pissin off (and on) the Nativists. The comments sometimes are as good as your column. Lookin forward to more...
..While somethings were funny, I don't agree with what happen in Denver! Enough of this crap!
Your column was neither humorous, informative or entertaining. Hope you feel better next week!
Wow! this addition really sucked!
Me no likes Taco Bell; me likes Mi Nidito on South 4th Avenue, say hello to my little nest; the Prez loved it, too.
Sounds like, even way back then"Isabella" was a big time human smuggler ! Paid and bought the services of "El Coyote" Christopher Columbus. If only back in 1492,when they arrived they could have asked for there Papers ! The rest would be history. Speaking from the spirits of the past, now please leave,go back home, europe needs you ! Oh ! by the way, thank you for your help!
If the northern Italians were'nt so cheap,Columbus wouldn't have asked Isabella for cash and three ships and we would have great Italian restaurants along the border and you'd be talking like my mother-in-law..............
Incredible that the Tucson Weekly would stoop so low as to allow a so-called "writer" to treat women like sex-objects, and without reprisal from the "editors"! Ever! Why is this allowed to continue?
If he's attempting to be a cool comedian, he's failing miserably - about like Bill Maher. The "Cheech and Chong" era ended many decades ago, and to act like an irresponsible, low-functioning lowlife of any ethnic group is beyond classless - its downright childish. Seriously, his inabilty to properly relate to women, no matter how "funny" he believes himself to be, is extremely offensive. His "comedic" offerings fall way short, and his treatment of his own ethnicity should be toned down.
However, we'll most likely just receive more lowlife commentary from the "author" - if not the "editors"! Instead we, the readers, will be asked not to read "Ask a Mexican"! Get a clue, TW!
'Ask a Mexican" is always a disgusting pile of garbage.
Why is it in the TW?
In suggesting impregnation to teach a women a lesson the answer to "El Burrito Ablandado" Mr. Arellano steps over an important line of human decency.
Que sabes vato? I like your columns pero recently they've been bien aburridos! Puro pedo in your subject matter. Lighten up ese!
Madonna.....he sang about killing himself;remember he was pointing the gun to his head....you better watch it again.....no wonder my mother-in-law who was from Naples hated me for being Sicilian......
I guess you're only allowed to be proud if you are mexican? Lame.
Hey Mexican, you missed the boat in your response to Wabette. There are three Americas, north, south and central. This goulash is 53% Native American of which America? I think a better term for her would be just plain ole' American with a little pachanga!
Gustavo, even though I'm not a paisan I never found out in any history class about the Alamo, what happened to Crocket's rifle and Bowie's knife....did Santa Anna confiscate both and if so are they on display in Mexico...addio,grazie mille
Keep things just as they are Gustavo. 100's of thousands of us love ya....
It seems the Mexican-american war never ended in 1848 ! To all my brothers and Sisters,We must stand in Solidarity ! Yes, I feel disrespected ! But, I started thinking how we can fight back,in a Justice way ! We need to be Pro-Active,telling,our people to vote,be strong,to get involved ! We need to be informed on Arizona history, never forget,History ! I am Brown skin,"Proud"for who I am ! Unity.brotherhood and sisterhood !
